Los Angeles, California – Lady Gaga has quietly become a mom, and sources have revealed that even her inner circle had no idea until the news went public!
The 40-year-old pop star brought her baby into the world without giving anything away, per Page Six, with one source saying that hardly anyone in her life was in the loop.
Gaga – born Stefani Germanotta – and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, welcomed their baby girl via surrogate on June 9 in Los Angeles.
The now three-month-old is named Rose Bean.

Gaga famously performed La Vie En Rose in the 2018 movie A Star Is Born, and her hit Born This Way was inspired by activist Carl Bean.
Many believe both influences are behind her baby’s name.
Insiders say the “extremely happy” star has been spending most of her time in Northern California with Michael and the baby, keeping herself away from the spotlight.
One source claimed she may be finished with touring for a long while, saying, “She just wants to be a mom now.”
A friend of Gaga’s also told the outlet they aren’t hurt by the secrecy, and even called the couple’s bond an “amazing biodome of love.”
Gaga and Michael went public with their romance in 2020 and had been trying to start a family since 2024 – the same year he proposed – though many believe the two have secretly gotten hitched in the meantime.
A source said the road to parenthood was a tough one, filled with physical and emotional hardship, including severe hip issues for the singer.
