Robyn Dixon is opening up about her experience returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 11 as a friend to the Housewives. The mom of two had been a cast member on RHOP from Season 1 to Season 8 and is now sharing the difference between the two roles.

Robyn took to her podcast, Reasonably Shady, which she co-hosts with RHOP cast member Gizelle Bryant, where she dished on her experience as a friend. “I do want to make something clear, people: I’m not a Housewife, guys, so you don’t have to ask me what my storyline is,” she said during the episode. “Like, there’s people in the comments, ‘Oh my God, what’s her storyline this year?’ Guess what? I don’t have one. This is so exciting!”
She continued, citing The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend Cynthia Bailey, who had been a Housewife from RHOA Season 3 to Season 13 before returning as a friend to the Housewives in RHOA Season 16. “Look, Cynthia Bailey did not lie when she said the friend role is where it’s at,” she said. “We’re not just popping up and saying like, ‘Oh hey!'”
Robyn Dixon teases RHOP Season 11
Robyn also teased what’s to come from RHOP Season 11. “It’s a great season,” Robyn said. “You have Karen [Huger] who just has that experience of being in prison. You have Wendy [Osefo] who’s going through a lot. You had Tia [Glover] going through stuff. You’ve got a new girl. I’m back.”
“It was fun. It was a good experience. It’s gonna be a good season,” she said. “But yeah, don’t be asking me what my storyline is.”

While Robyn might just be a friend, there is a lot in store for her during RHOP Season 11. According to an announcement for the new season, “Robyn is building her business and returns with a fresh outlook focused on strengthening bonds and moving forward on her own terms, no longer afraid to say exactly what’s on her mind. This time around, Robyn is determined to chart her own course.”
