 “I think when you start something you don’t really know what you’re getting into until you’re in the thick of it. So it’s definitely a very challenging business. I mean, any brick-and-mortar New York City business is gonna be challenging,” he said.
“But the fact that he’s stood it out and made it happen and celebrated his one-year [anniversary]. I mean, there’s plenty of venues that open their doors, and they can’t say that. So it was awesome to just be there, support him,” he said.

Kyle Cooke praises Carl Radke’s “thriving business” at Soft Bar after first anniversary milestone
Kyle continued, singing the praises of Carl and his business. “Anytime one of your friends starts something, you try to be supportive, and you try to do what you can. But sometimes, it doesn’t go,” he said.
“I mean, entrepreneurship is tough. But the fact that he’s got a thriving business and he’s figuring it out, and he’s putting in the hard work, I’m incredibly happy and proud. And he’s kind of been able to create this little home base that kind of goes above and beyond just selling drinks,” he said. “You know, he’s done so many different brand activations and events there.”

Carl Radke celebrates the one-year anniversary of Soft Bar + Café in NYCÂ
Carl took to Instagram on Sept. 4, where he shared a look at the one-year anniversary of Soft Bar. In the photos, Carl can be seen hanging out with Lindsay Hubbard and Kyle, who wore a Soft Bar jersey. He then took to the caption of the post, where he reflected on officially being in business for a year.
“Here, we are,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this team, everyone who has walked through our doors, our investors, and all of you who have supported us over the past year (and long before it). What started as an idea has become a community I’m incredibly proud of. Thank you for being a part of it! Here’s to another one.”
