Los Angeles, California – Roughly a decade after divorcing, actor Olivier Martinez has filed a restraining order against Hollywood star Halle Berry, accusing his ex‑wife of violently attacking their 12-year-old son Maceo.

Martinez alleges that Berry attacked her own child on September 26. Per reports by TMZ, Martinez filed a restraining order against the Oscar winner on Thursday, and it was provisionally granted.
With the order, the Catwoman star may not come within 100 yards of her son for now. She can see Maceo only under the court‑ordered visitation schedule until an October 16 hearing.
Martinez’s accusations are serious: He says there have been ongoing problems and that the situation escalated last Saturday, with the 60‑year‑old allegedly attacking her son violently.

Berry’s ex-husband claims that when she was at home with her fiancé Van Hunt and son Maceo, Berry allegedly insulted her child while he was playing a VR game, calling him “so stupid” and “such an idiot,” before allegedly becoming physically aggressive.

Berry is said to have lunged at her son and started fighting with him. She allegedly grabbed his neck and choked him while shouting, “Who is dominant now?”
The next day, she allegedly sent a message to her ex-husband, saying, “I feel terrible about what happened last night as I know he does as well.”
According to Martinez, Berry has been violent in the past and reportedly called her ex-husband “a white b**** robbing money from a black woman.”

Even though the restraining order was initially granted, Berry vehemently disputes the claims.
Her attorney, Marina Beck, told TMZ, “To say this filing is entirely meritless and deliberately misleading would be an understatement. There is voluminous evidence, including numerous judicial rulings, that Olivier Martinez repeatedly violated court orders and interfered with necessary therapeutic and educational interventions to the detriment of his and Halle Berry’s minor son Maceo – misconduct for which Mr. Martinez has already been legally sanctioned.”
Beck added, “Fortunately, Halle is used to this kind of outrageous conduct from Mr. Martinez and, while she is deeply saddened, she will not allow it to deter her from fighting for Maceo’s best interests and providing him with the love and support he needs.”
