The Valley‘s Tom Schwartz is sharing major updates on his bar, TomTom, as well as his friendship with Tom Sandoval. It was announced in March 2026 that TomTom would be going up for sale due to “dwindling sales” figures, but Tom Schwartz is sharing a look at the bar, which is still open today.
Tom Schwartz took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, Oct. 1, where he revealed that he was hanging out at TomTom. In a photo posted to his Instagram Story, Tom captured the inside of the bar, showing off the unique lighting figures hanging over the bar, as well as the giant clock, bathed in several colors of blue, red, and green light. The bar looked like such a vibe, which Tom Schwartz was quick to point out in the caption of the post. “We’re grooving tonight,” he wrote over the photo, tagging TomTom.
As Tom Schwartz’s boss and TomTom co-owner, Lisa Vanderpump, noted when speaking to TMZ months prior in June, “TomTom’s still open. For now. Who knows? I’ve had 40 restaurants, a hotel. It’s a lot.”

Tom Schwartz shares a look inside of his friendship with Tom Sandoval today
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are still very close friends amid changes at TomTom. Tom Schwartz celebrated Tom Sandoval’s win on the TV game show in late September, with both friends taking to their Instagram Stories to show off scenes from their hangout after Tom Sandoval won money for charity.Â
The friends went out to dinner at Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank, where they dined on shrimp cocktail, hung out with each other, and snapped a photo of a photo of them that is displayed in the restaurant. “Sando just won $50k for his charity of choice on this week’s celeb version of [Celebrity Weakest Link],” he wrote over the photo. “So we hit [The Smoke House] to celebrate his victory with some old school dirty martinis.”

Tom Schwartz opens up about TomTom being sold
Tom Schwartz appeared on The Valley After Show in Season 3, Episode 11, where he admitted that he was “blindsided” by the sale of TomTom, which he owns a small percentage of. “I technically have my puny 5 percent, but it means the world to me,” he said on The Valley After Show in June 2026. “Like, it meant 100 percent of my life for so long. We put a lot of our f–king blood, sweat, and tears in that place. Like, I really poured my heart out every time I went in there. But yeah, I’ll make a few bucks when they sell it, which will be nice.”
But Tom Schwartz admitted that he will be happy to be out of the restaurant business for good once its sold. “It’s a nightmare, it’s all-consuming,” he said. “Just up at dawn, stressed at night. It’s like, even when things are going good, it’s just…If, like, if you don’t love it, I don’t know, man. But I would never open my own bar or put my name on a lease ever again. Or finance it.”
