Steve McBee Sr. is sharing a look into his relationship with his “gift” of a son, Jesse McBee. The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys‘ patriarch has a unique bond with all four of his sons, but opened up about his relationship with his second-oldest son on Jesse’s 30th birthday.
Jesse turned 30 on Sunday, Oct. 4, and celebrated this special day surrounded by so much love from his family members. His dad, Steve Sr., took to his Instagram Story on Oct. 4, where he re-posted a photo of Jesse and his daughter, Summer Leigh McBee. “Happy Birthday Jesse!” he captioned the photo.
Steve Sr. also posted a photo of himself sandwiched between Jesse and his second-youngest son, Cole McBee, where he shared a longer birthday tribute to Jesse. “Thirty years ago God gave me a gift, and I’ve thanked Him for you ever since. I’m proud of you, I’m praying for you, and I love you, son,” he wrote over the post set to George Strait’s “Cowboys Like Us.” “I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day out doing what you love, chasing cows across the field and tagging cows.”

Cole revealed that Jesse spent his birthday doing just that, tagging cows and working on the McBee family farm in Gallatin, Missouri. Cole took to his Instagram Story on Oct. 4, where he posted a video of Jesse looking out over the cow pasture. “Catching cows on your birthday,” Cole told Jesse in the now-disappeared video. “No place I’d rather be. Except, like, 20,” Jesse replied.Â
Cole also posted a photo of Jesse smiling while hanging out over the cow fence. “Happy 30th old man!!” he wrote over the photo.

Steven, on the other hand, took to his Instagram Feed, where he posted a photo of him and Jesse taken in Montana, looking like the real American cowboys that they are. “Happy birthday to my brother [Jesse]. Love ya bub,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “More time spent doing what we love in places like this for our next decade.”
He also reposted this on his Instagram Story. “Happy birthday bub,” he wrote over it.
Jesse McBee opens up about his life as a dad today ahead of his 30th birthday
Prior to turning 30 years old, Jesse had been active on Instagram over the summer. He took to his account on July 26, posting so many photos of him and Summer as they explored the family farm, went to the beach, and ate so much food together. “Summer Dump with Summer Leigh,” he wrote in the caption of the post. He also took to his account on Aug. 20, where he posted a series of photos of him and Summer as they wore matching outfits and went fishing on the farm. “Gone Fishin'” he captioned the photos.
