Bronwyn Newport Talks Finances Amid Todd Bradley Divorce

The financial details of Bronwyn Newport’s divorce from Todd Bradley raised major alarm bells on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 7. More specifically, some of her castmates worried about the fact that Todd’s word was the only assurance Bronwyn had that he would fairly and amicably execute a verbal agreement on dividing their marital assets.

During the San Francisco cast trip in Episode 4 of RHOSLC, Whitney Rose asked Bronwyn if she and Todd really had only a “handshake deal” on their divorce settlement, which she confirmed to be the case. That prompted Heather Gay to question if there was a world in which Todd might “screw” Bronwyn out of money by the time their divorce is finalized.

“He still could, yeah,” Bronwyn admitted, before noting that everything was “calm” between her and Todd at the moment. Further addressing the ongoing nature of their legal proceedings, she added, “It’s messy because it’s not done. … It’s, like, awkward a little bit.”

Do Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have a prenup?

No, Bronwyn and Todd never signed a prenup, as she previously revealed during RHOSLC Season 5. At the time, Bronwyn was denying claims that she was primarily interested in Todd for his money and explained that she was “working in finance” when they first met.

“If Todd and I got divorced tomorrow, I would not have access to most of the stuff Todd has, because Todd and I are genuinely in a real relationship,” she said in the 2024 episode. “And I wouldn’t take Todd to the cleaners, which is why we don’t have a prenup.”

How are Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley splitting finances in their divorce?

The topic of Bronwyn and Todd’s finances arose in Season 7, because they had just sold their marital home. “When we sold this house, we just split it 50/50,” Bronwyn told her castmates, clarifying, “We own everything together, but everything we own is in a trust.” The estranged couple had yet to reach an agreement on a final cash settlement amount, at the time, however.

Amid more financial-related questions from Britani Bateman, Bronwyn added, “I am getting money individually as we sell each property. I’ll let you know the sale price as we do them. If and when we agree on a cash settlement, I will also send you a picture of the cashier’s check. And then you’ll know all the details you need to know.”

In a confessional, Heather remarked to a RHOSLC producer, “Is she a fool? It’s a handshake deal? The ink’s not even dry, and you’re doing press releases with a hot model? Like, Business 101, man, art of negotiation. Just pretend to be sad.”

What is the status of Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley’s divorce today?

Sharing a status update during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen‘s Sept. 16 episode, Bronwyn said that she and Todd were “not divorced” yet. “We are very close to everything being filed and done,” she added. “We did it privately with a mediator.”

In the same WWHL interview, Bronwyn told host Andy Cohen that her and Todd’s dynamic was still as “amicable” as it appeared to be. Even so, she clarified, “Todd and I aren’t together. We’re done.”

In the meantime, don’t miss details on where RHOSLC is filmed.
