London, UK – For the first time, Prince Harry has spoken openly about the challenging period after his withdrawal from royal life in 2020, revealing that he “slipped into depression” at the time.

As People reported, Harry recalled experiencing an “adrenaline crash” shortly after moving to Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Prince Archie.
After years in his British home, the transition apparently took a bigger toll on him than he had initially expected.
“It was as if I needed stress in order to get the adrenaline to make my brain function because I became useless around the house,” the 42-year-old said in a new MasterClass lesson.

“I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks, and I felt like I couldn’t function without adrenaline.”
The Sussexes’ step back from royal duties in 2020 was intended to give them “some space away from everything just to be able to think.”
Even though the start to his new life was difficult at first, Harry began to enjoy it more and more.
After their time in Canada, the family settled in California. While there, Harry and Meghan also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

After six years, the family has now decided to leave the American Dream behind and return to Harry’s old home.
The Duke of Sussex now wants to make peace with his family, especially with his father, King Charles.
The monarch also seems open to a rapprochement, but whether Harry’s brother Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are willing to reconcile remains unclear.

Recent reports suggested that Harry and Meghan want to apologize to the heir‑apparent couple.
However, a royal expert dismissed those rumours as “total rubbish.” In an interview with Page Six, he said, “Harry has always said he will never apologize for anything.”
Another source contradicted that portrayal, noting that the Sussexes have since recognized they went too far back then.
She referred to the Oprah interview in which Harry and Meghan leveled serious accusations at the British royal family – including claims of racism toward Meghan and Prince Archie.
The source explained, “They want to focus on the future, and are hoping that will include a reconciliation at some point. They really want a sit-down so they can address what they said, and Meghan will apologize.”
