OCALA, Fla. (TCN) — A 69-year-old man has been arrested following a child exploitation investigation and charged with multiple counts in connection with child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to the Ocala Police Department, the investigation into William Hoyle began when they got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators learned he had allegedly requested child sexual abuse content, solicited a mother to abuse her child, and offered gift cards as payment.
A search warrant was executed at his home, which is next door to a middle school, and Hoyle was arrested on charges of possession and distribution of CSAM, human trafficking, transmission of harmful material to a minor, solicitation of a parent for unlawful sexual contact with a child, aggravated use of a child in a sexual performance, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and possession of bestiality, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
