Teddi Mellencamp is sharing new details about her recent upper bleph surgery on her eyelids. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum got a cosmetic procedure done amidst her cancer journey, opening up about her decision to get it done just days after she revealed her new haircut.
Teddi took to her Instagram Story earlier this week, where she revealed that she was “not going under,” but instead getting an upper blepharoplasty, or an eyelid lift, by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Sarmela Sunder. “Upper Bleph day with the best doctor out there. And yes, I got the OK from my cancer doctors,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Once she was at the doctor, she documented the procedure while she defended her decision to get it done in the caption of the post. “I hear you all saying I don’t need this…but I want it!” she wrote. And after the procedure was over, Teddi took to the car where she opened up about how easy it was. “I was at the doctor’s office for a total of two hours,” she said. “I can’t even. Obsessed.”

Teddi Mellencamp shares an update on her cancer treatments after her upper bleph eyelid surgery
After getting her eyelid surgery, Teddi took to her Instagram Story where she revealed that she was waking up “bright and early” to get immunotherapy treatments. “But also today is scan day, which makes me a little bit more nervous because I haven’t had my scans done in about four months. So I’m getting my MRI and my CAT scans. That’s today,” she said.
But everything turned out well, leading Teddi to continue to recover with her bleph. “All the cancer scans came back good. Immunotherapy time and ice time for blephy poo,” she wrote over a photo of her icing her eyes.

Teddi Mellencamp opens up about her progress in her cancer journey
Teddi had previously shared a major update on her cancer journey while speaking with Extra in early September. While she revealed that she is “cancer free for right now,” she is “not allowed to say” that she’s in “remission.” “You know, some days I feel great, and some days I feel very low,” she said. “And I think that’s one thing I didn’t really realize. People think like once you get through radiation and then you’re on to either their chemotherapy or their immunotherapy, then like, you’re healed. And you’re like, ‘No, I’m still in the midst of it.”
She continued, admitting that she has more treatments to go through. “I have 10 more months of immunotherapy,” she said. “It seems to be working.”
