London, UK – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared together in public for the first time since returning to the UK. According to an expert, the Sussexes are making it clear that they want to be part of the working royal family again and now view their withdrawal as “a small hiccup.”

Speaking with The Sun, body‑language expert Judi James said that the couple deliberately wanted to show at their appearance in Nottingham that they are “back in the royal-style game.”
Harry, in particular, caught her eye. According to James, the 42‑year‑old instantly slipped back into his role as a “classic royal.”
She explained: “Harry even launched into the playful ‘pointless point’ gesture as he chatted to the fans – this is a royal classic, used by both his father and his grandfather Philip, where the royal engages by randomly pointing into a crowd while they are talking to them.”

This gesture gave Harry’s comeback appearance an extra “royal-ish” vibe and made him seem like a “returning hero.”

In contrast, James observed that Meghan’s gestures were more “actor-ish.” The expert claimed that the 45‑year‑old deliberately used gestures during the fan conversation in order to be liked.
According to James, the Duchess therefore conveyed “modest gratitude.”
Overall, Harry and Meghan behaved as if they had never stepped out of their former roles.
When Meghan greeted the fans, she also told them it was “good to be back,” referring to her return to the UK at the end of August.
Whether the Sussexes will actually be welcomed back as working members of the royal family, however, remains unclear for now.
A few weeks ago, Harry’s father, King Charles, clarified in a letter that Harry and Meghan should continue to be treated as private individuals and not working members of the royal family.
