When Lisa Vanderpump reunited with Kevin Lee on Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, she had some long-brewing drama involving Kyle Richards to sort out with her “former friend” and party planner. After Lisa unleashed on Kevin for working with her “enemy,” Kyle, in the series premiere (more on that below), she opened up to Bravo Insider about their tense conversation.
“I had to tell him off first, and he still didn’t get it,” Lisa recalled in an exclusive interview, referencing Kevin’s explanation that his previous collaboration with Kyle was simply a “business” decision. “I was like, ‘No, it’s not. Let me explain it to you. If I had another party planner on the show, how would you feel?’ I’d be terrible. ‘There you go.'”
As Lisa concluded, “I think you always have to reverse things to people and put somebody in your position, and then they understand it, right?”

How was Kyle Richards involved in Lisa Vanderpump and Kevin Lee’s falling out?
As Lisa explained in Episode 1 of Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, “Kevin Lee was my really good friend. I mean, I loved him, and he was my party planner for years. Nobody’s better.” Referencing the White Party Kevin planned for Kyle during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 finale, she continued, “And then, suddenly, I see him fraternizing with the enemy. It’s somebody that hurt me badly, screwed me over badly, and he’s doing her party without telling me. It was like, what the f–k?”
Later in the episode, Lisa added, “Loyalty’s a huge factor. You have to understand, I meet hundreds of people every day. So, it’d be easy to have friendships with many more people, but I choose my friends very carefully. And when they disappoint you, it hurts.”

Inside Lisa Vanderpump and Kevin Lee’s confrontation on Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas
Though Kevin is primarily a party planner, Lisa said in Episode 1 that she’d tapped him to help decorate her namesake Las Vegas hotel because “nobody does florals like him.” During their meeting in Sin City, Lisa mentioned that they had gone “quite a long time” without seeing each other, while Kevin acknowledged that she was “kind of mad” at him.
When she questioned whether or not he knew why she was mad at him, Kevin, instead, reasoned that his work on Kyle’s white party, which was held at SoFi Stadium in May 2023, had only been “about business.”
“I know, but it was Kyle, somebody that hurt me badly, f–ked me over,” Lisa fired back. “When I see you working with her, when I introduced you to this whole situation because you were that close to me with Pandora’s wedding… I always thought of you like family.”

Kevin, meanwhile, said that LVP was like “family” to him too, before doubling down that his decision was “all about business.” Still, Lisa disagreed. “OK, let me ask you this,” she began. “If somebody f–ked you over, and you saw them with me, how would you feel?”
Though Kevin admitted that he’d “feel really, really bad,” he continued to lay out the same defense. That’s when Lisa cut him off to ask, “Why don’t you admit you’re wrong and say you’re sorry? And we can move on.” He obliged, declaring, “I’m sorry, my love!” and the two embraced.
Would Lisa Vanderpump reconcile with Kyle Richards?
Kevin opined in a confessional that Lisa and Kyle “should be friends again,” citing the amount of time that had passed since their feud began. Separately, Lisa weighed in, “I miss the friendship that I had with Kyle, but that’s so long ago now. And I think if somebody has bad intention for you, then they’re not welcome in my world.”
