Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Rodrigo Reyes, Whitner Slagsvol, Venita Aspen, Salley Carson, Madison LeCroy, Molly O’Connell, and Allie Newman make up the cast for Season 12, which will also feature appearances from Whitney Sudler-Smith, Patricia Altschul, Charley Manley, and Taylor Ann Green. Like every Bravo series, you should start at the beginning with Southern Charm. Season 1 had the goal of taking viewers “inside the world of Charleston, South Carolina’s most aristocratic families to reveal a world of exclusivity, money, and scandal,” and has proceeded to do that for the past 11 seasons.
Southern Charm Season 1 even introduced viewers to two current cast members: Craig, a Charleston newbie from Delaware and aspiring lawyer; and Shep, a South Carolina native and super social man about town. Whitney was also a cast member during Southern Charm Season 1, introducing viewers to his fabulous lifestyle and even more fabulous mother, Patricia, and her beloved butler, the late Michael Kelcourse.

Austen joined the cast of Southern Charm during Season 4. He was introduced to the cast as a beer distributor friend of Shep’s and a bit of a ladies man without the desire to get married. “What can I say, I’m 29 and I’m having a good time,” he declared in a confessional during Southern Charm Season 4, Episode 1.

A timeline of Southern Charm Seasons 1 through 11
Southern Charm Season 1

Original cast members Craig and Shep were introduced to audience members during Season 1, becoming mainstays for the seasons to come. Viewers also got to know Cameran, a woman not afraid to humble the men of Southern Charm and keep them in line.
Southern Charm Season 2
- New additions included cast member Landon Clements, while Kathryn was promoted from a friend to a full-time position

Southern Charm Season 2 found Craig at a crossroads in his life as he started studying for the bar exam following his law school graduation only to get fired from his legal job. Viewers were also introduced to Landon this season, who would cause some chaos of her own in Charleston.
Southern Charm Season 3

Shep was left speechless during this season after Landon confessed her love to him. Meanwhile, he was trying to repair his friendship with Craig after having a rough second season with him. Southern Charm Season 3 also found Kathryn pregnant and on the verge of giving birth to her second child.
Southern Charm Season 4
- New additions included cast member Austen and friend Chelsea Meissner

Viewers were introduced to Austen during Southern Charm Season 4 through his friend Shep. But, things took a turn between Shep and Austen when they found themselves caught in a love triangle with Chelsesa. Craig, meanwhile, was hopeful during Season 4 after he revealed that he had finally passed the bar exam, although he did not remain in law for much longer.

Southern Charm Season 5

Craig experienced a major career pivot during Southern Charm Season 5, attempting to turn his sewing hobby into something much larger. This upset his then-girlfriend Naomie, causing him to utter the now-iconic quote, “What’s wrong with my sewing?” Cameran also experienced some major changes when Season 5 found her pregnant and giving birth to her daughter, Palmer Wimberly.
Southern Charm Season 6
- New additions included cast member Eliza Limehouse, while Naomie was promoted from a friend to a full-time position

Austen’s relationship with Madison came under fire during Southern Charm Season 6 when Shep said during the first episode that he did not like Austen’s on-again-off-again girlfriend. With this admission came the first glimpse at the now-infamous video of Madison catching Austen with girls at his house while he was in his underwear. Craig was also going through relationship issues, starting the season fresh off of his breakup with Naomie.
Southern Charm Season 7
- New additions included cast members Leva and John Pringle, and friends Taylor and Venita, while Madison was promoted from a friend to a full-time position

Shep introduced the world to his new girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green, during Southern Charm Season 7, while Madison and Austen continued to have their ups and downs. Leva also joined the cast, giving viewers a look inside of her Charleston business empire, while Craig made some major career strides after experiencing success with his new brand, Sewing Down South.
Southern Charm Season 8
- New additions included cast members Olivia Flowers and Chleb Ravenell, and friend Marcie Hobbs, while Taylor and Venita were promoted from friend roles to full-time positions

Riding high from his success in his career, Craig introduced the group to his new and very New York girlfriend, Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo. But, things got complicated when Naomie revealed that she had slept with Craig two months earlier. Elsewhere, Madison and newcomer Venita briefly feuded after Madison’s engagement to Brett Randle overshadowed their joint birthday party, and Shep and Taylor went through several highs and lows before ultimately breaking up. Austen, meanwhile, pursued a romance with newcomer Olivia.
Southern Charm Season 9
- New additions included cast members Rod Razavi and Jarrett “JT” Thomas, and friend Rodrigo

After Taylor’s breakup with Shep and Austen’s breakup with Olivia, rumors spread about Taylor and Austen kissing, resulting in her having a major fall out with Olivia. Meanwhile, Southern Charm newcomer JT confessed his crush on Taylor during the Season 9 finale, resulting in him getting shut down by her. Elsewhere, Madison celebrated her marriage to Brett during the premiere, while Whitney and Austen exchanged a jokey kiss during the cast trip to Jamaica.
Southern Charm Season 10
- New additions included cast members Ryan Albert, Salley and Molly, while Rodrigo was promoted from a friend to a full-time position

Relationships were pushed to the forefront of Southern Charm Season 10 with practically all of the cast members experiencing drama because of them. Shep pursued a relationship with Bahamian beauty queen, Sienna Evans, even bringing the crew along with him for his trip to the Bahamas to visit her. But, by the end of the season, things had fizzled out between them. JT and Venita also had a will-they-or-won’t-they romance throughout the season, before Venita made amends with him during the reunion. Taylor and newcomer Salley experienced their differences over Taylor’s new boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, causing them to fight. And Austen and Craig, who had been feuding all season, temporarily made amends after Craig dropped the bombshell that him and Paige had broken up during the Season 10 finale.

Southern Charm Season 11
- New additions included cast members Whitney and Charley

Madison experienced a major milestone when she gave birth to her daughter, Teddi LeCroy Randle, mid-season. Following his breakup from Paige, Craig pursued a relationship with Charley, but that got sidelined when he because of drama with Salley, who had relationship issues of her own when she pursued Austen following his breakup from Audrey Pratt, resulting in a friends-with-benefits relationship between them. Meanwhile, Venita and Salley grew closer as friends while Venita questioned her relationship choices.
