In All’s Fair Season 2, Episode 1, “The Scorpion Ball,” Allura Grant (Kim Kardashian) wants to help her friend and mentor, Dina Standish (Glenn Close), out by doing her a solid. After all, the woman has been through it. Between going to prison, losing her husband, and being framed as having dementia, she could use a helping hand these days.
So, to help her legal guru out, Allura treats her to a reading with the famous medium Loni Everlane, played by The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley, who, according to Emerald Greene (Niecy Nash), is so accurate that she even predicted COVID.
While at her table, Loni advises Dina, “Don’t sleep on the cosmos, Ms. Standish, the world turns because of them.”
So, how did The Real Housewives of New York City alum and current The Golden Life star end up reading tarot cards for the senior counsel of Grant, Ronson & Greene?

“I auditioned on a Friday, and they gave me the role the following week, and I filmed a week later,” Medley revealed to E! News at the New York premiere of The Golden Life on October 14. “So, it was cold turkey.”
“I almost died when I got the role,” she revealed. “It was fantastic. But acting is hard.”
At the time of the interview, the role was still under wraps, Medley said, “I play a very interesting character that’s very well-suited to me. You’ll see it and be like, ‘Oh yeah, that’s her.’”
The Golden Life follows five iconic alumni from The Real Housewives of New York City —Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Medley — as they relocate to Palm Beach, Florida, to embrace their fresh “golden era.” The series airs weekly on E! Network.
In the episode, Loni tells a skeptical Dina that she left someone behind and that she is destined to fall in love, perhaps not with a partner, but with life and all its possibilities. However, Dina is also warned that mistakes from her past will come back to haunt her, and that it will be a matter of life and death.
