Accused Idaho Killer Bryan Kohberger Had Photos of Female Victim on His Phone: Report
According to PEOPLE, a source claimed that investigators obtained Kohberger’s phone following his arrest in January, and found photos of one of the three female victims, although it’s unclear which victim it was.
“He had more than one picture of her,” the source reportedly said. “It was clear that he was paying attention to her.”
It’s also unclear how Kohberger obtained the photos and whether he took the photos himself or took them from social media.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kohberger is facing murder and burglary charges in connection with the November 13 deaths of students Ethan Chapin, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves.
The victims were found stabbed to death in their off-campus rental on King Road, near the University of Idaho. Kohberger then drove over 2,000 miles from Washington to his home state of Pennsylvania.
So far, the weapon used in the incident has not been found, but a previous affidavit stated police found a sheath at the crime scene with Kohberger’s DNA on it.
