Who Was Ray Gauthier?
Ray Gauthier spent his boyhood growing up in Ouelletteville at the Gauthier Family Homestead. He had many aunts, uncles, and cousins there that were part of his extended family but it was Laurette (Harry) Gustavsen who he called his maternal grandmother that raised him up there. His scholastic journey started in a one-room schoolhouse and he completed it by graduating from the CBV school situated in Cluny.
How did Ray Gauthier die? What was the cause of his death?
Unfortunately, the cause of death has not been disclosed by the family or authorities at this time. However, tributes have begun pouring in with people expressing their love and gratitude for all that Ray did during his life. The tributes have been quite touching and moving as they show how much love and admiration people had for him. They say that he was a kind-hearted man who always put others before himself and would do anything to help them out if needed. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling with friends and family members whenever he could find some free time out of his busy schedule.

Ray is survived by his wife Commissioner Brenda Lucki; his son Kevin (Shannon); daughter Traci (Mathieu); step-daughter Elizabeth; grandsons Sam & Louie; sisters Barb (Doug) & Bonnie (Paul), numerous nieces & nephews; stepmother Leona; brother David; stepbrothers Bill & Bob Eugene; stepsisters Bev & Judy as well as many other relatives & friends too numerous to mention here but not forgotten either way! It’s clear that there was an abundance of love shared between everyone close to Ray in both life and death which is truly inspiring to see amidst such sadness today.

It’s truly heartbreaking to hear about the loss of such an amazing person like Ray Gauthier – husband of RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki – but it’s also inspiring to see how much love those close to him have for him even after he passed away. From his early days growing up on the family homestead to raising two children with Commissioner Lucki later on in life – there’s no doubt that he touched many lives throughout his years here with us on Earth before ultimately joining our creator in Heaven above! May we remember him fondly as one that brought joy into our world rather than sadness at its end… Rest In Peace Mr. Gauthier! ??❤️️
