His appeal against the judge’s decision to extend his arrest for a third time for 30 days on February 21 was denied last month. Tate’s legal team will ‘appeal within 48 hours’

However, Tate’s hopes were dashed by the judge who denied his application on Tuesday afternoon, March 14. The influencer stated that he was “disappointed” by the decision because he had “high hopes” of being reunited with his family,’ adding that his lawyers will appeal the decision. “Unfortunately, the Romanian judicial system denied Andrew Tate’s request for bail today,” a spokesperson for Tate told MailOnline.

“We are disappointed with the outcome because we had high hopes that Andrew would be reunited with his family,” read the statement that added, “His legal team will be appealing this decision within the 48 hour time frame.” Tristan, Tate’s brother, will appear for his bail hearing tomorrow on March 15.

Their two female accomplices, Georgiana Naghel, 28, a model thought to have been dating Tate for about a year, and Luana Radu, 32, a former police officer in Bucharest, will also appear at bail hearings tomorrow and on Thursday, March 16, respectively. The four have not yet been officially charged. In Romania, it is uncommon for suspects who are being held as a preventative measure for major offences to ask to post bail. Requests to be subjected to additional legal constraints like house arrest or geographic limitations are becoming frequent. After admitting last week that he has a “black spot on his lung,” Tate last week denied having cancer.

Tate, who moved to Romania in 2017, was previously prohibited from using a variety of social media platforms after posting a series of racist and $exist remarks, as reported by LA Times. He has often said that Romanian prosecutors don’t have the evidence to prosecute him and that their case is an effort to silence him on “political” grounds.
