Hospital Workers Anilus and Rosnie Frederic
Suspects Anilus and Rosnie Frederic worked for Wellstar linen sorting facility at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. WAGA reported that Kieran Massey and his fiancé Carla had a stillborn girl in August, and they brought the ashes — in an urn inside a teddy bear — for emotional support when she was admitted to the hospital in February.
The urn and teddy bear reportedly vanished as Carla took a shower. An internal investigation led hospital officials to the Frederics, who are accused of discarding the ashes.

WSB-TV reported that the bear was found in a trash can the same day it vanished but the urn was empty.
“Just knowing that we lost her and losing the ashes all in one is very painful. Why? Why would ya’ll do that?” the baby’s father said.
According to the news outlet, the Frederics were working in the laundry room the day the ashes vanished. Police believe the bear was stolen as Carla’s sheets were being changed.
The Fredricks are charged with theft and abandonment of a dead body. They have since bonded out of jail.
Wellstar confirmed in a statement to WSB-TV and WAGA that the Fredericks no longer work for the company.
