Missing 5-year-old Wisconsin Boy Found Dead in Dumpster, Teen and Adult Arrested – Crime Online

Milwaukee police opened a homicide investigation after the body of missing 5-year-old Prince McCree was discovered in a dumpster Thursday, a day after he vanished.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, police took a 27-year-old man and 15-year-old boy into custody as persons of interest in the death, and said foul play is expected.

McCree was last spotted Wednesday morning at his North 54th Street home and by late Wednesday night, his parents were going door-to-door, asking neighbors if they had seen the boy, State Sen. LaTonya Johnson reportedly said.

“They were distraught,” Johnson, who lives across the street from the family, said. “It was a shock. This neighborhood is relatively quiet. You don’t see a lot of police activity. We knew it was something serious.”

Johnson added that the two people arrested lived in the home with Prince but she’s unsure what their relationship was with the child. She said she had little contact with the family but previously saw them a few times walking to a nearby store.

“That is a relatively large house. I don’t know all of the people who lived there, but I do know that it’s the owner, her two sons and a nephew, and then the family of the missing child,” Johnson told WISN 12 News.

Police found the victim inside a dumpster off Hawley and Vliet streets, not far from his home. So far, it’s unclear how he passed away.
