IBERIA PARISH, La. (TCD) — A mother and her two juvenile children have been taken into custody and are facing charges in connection with the shooting death of a 36-year-old man last month.
On Nov. 14, Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 4700 block of Jasper Road and located a victim deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Two weeks later, on Nov. 28, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested an 11-year-old girl, who had a warrant out of Iberia County for her arrest on a charge of first-degree murder for the death of Kameran Bedsole.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office announced Dec. 5 that investigators arrested two other people for their alleged roles in Bedsole’s death. Houston Police Department detectives with a warrant out of Iberia Parish took a 15-year-old into custody for first-degree murder. That same day, officials arrested 40-year-old Sabrina Washington for two counts of accessory after the fact.
The statement said both juveniles formerly lived in Iberia Parish, but they were located elsewhere.
Washington is reportedly the mother of the two suspects.
