Cher Seeks Conservatorship Over Missing Son Amid Mental Health Concerns – Crime Online

Singer Cher said on Thursday that her son has vanished as she seeks to be made his temporary conservator.

Cher — who is seeking a conservatorship over her son, Elijah Blue Allman — filed court documents claiming he is set to receive money from a trust fund but fears the money will be spent on drugs. Cher, 77, also stated her son has “severe mental health and substance abuse issues,” according to Page Six.

A temporary conservatorship hearing is scheduled for this Friday. However, Cher said Allman’s wife could prevent him from knowing about the hearing.

People reported that on Tuesday, Allman, 47, filed to dismiss divorce proceedings due to the upcoming conservatorship hearing. In September, Allman’s wife accused Cher of hiring four men to kidnap Allman in late 2022.

Cher filed to become Allman’s conservator in December 2023. She claimed at the time that Allman could not “form or express a preference” regarding a conservatorship, according to Page Six.

Cher singer also said her son makes $120,000 and he is set to receive a trust established by singer Gregg Allman, his late father.

A hearing regarding a permanent conservator order is scheduled for March 6.
