A fourth suspect has been arrested months after they were reportedly found to have done drugs at a Texas hotel with children present.
According to KTXS, Jeannie Mason and her young grandchild were found in an Abilene hotel room that was filled with fentanyl smoke. Her arrest comes weeks after the three other people she was living with — Robert Lee Mason, Jr., Jennifer Trevino, and Aracely Daniella Rocha — were arrested for blowing fentanyl smoke in a 19-day-old’s face to quell her cries.

On January 25, police stopped a car containing the newborn, Mason Jr., Trevino, Rocha, and a fourth adult outside a Frontier Inn & Suites in Abilene where they were all staying. It was during the traffic stop that officers discovered 56 fentanyl pills in the vehicle — including in the baby’s diaper bag, according to KTAB.
The alleged discovery led them to the hotel, where narcotics agents reportedly also found recently-burned foil in a room that was filled with fentanyl smoke. KTAB reported that Mason and the three other adults were living in two adjoined hotel rooms with four children.
It is unclear if Mason is also accused of blowing fentanyl smoke in the 19-day-old girl’s face. She and the three other suspects are charged with second-degree child endangerment. She remains jailed on a $25,000 bond.
