In a shocking turn of events, a pastor from Riverside, California, named Samuel Pasillas, has been arrested on charges related to a murder-for-hire plot against his daughter’s boyfriend.
The incident, which took place on October 21, 2023, involved Pasillas allegedly hiring hitmen to kill the man who was dating his daughter. The victim, who remains unidentified, was shot several times but managed to survive the attack and recover from his injuries.
Pasillas, who was known to be a pastor at a local Spanish-speaking church in Victorville, California, was charged with multiple counts for his alleged involvement in the plot. The Riverside County Police Department’s investigation revealed that Pasillas met with the men he hired and provided them with information about the victim, including his location the evening of the shooting.
Furthermore, it was determined that these men were paid almost $40,000 by Pasillas and had conducted surveillance on the victim in the weeks leading up to the shooting.
The victim was driving on Grove Community Drive approaching Plainview Street when another vehicle pulled up alongside him. Gunfire came from this other vehicle, and the victim was struck several times. Despite the severity of his injuries, he managed to drive himself to the hospital for treatment. Officers located evidence of a shooting on Grove Community Drive and Plainview Street, which further supported the claims made by the victim.
