Singer Cassie, who sued ex Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for rape last year, is reportedly cooperating with federal authorities amid their ongoing sex-trafficking investigation of the rap mogul.
Sources told TMZ that Cassie, whose full name is Cassandra Ventura, possibly spoke with detectives before last month’s raids at Combs’ properties in California and Florida. The tabloid reported that other women have also been speaking with investigators.
The raids — which were related to an ongoing probe by Homeland Security Investigations in New York — occurred four months after Cassie accused Combs of sex trafficking and abuse. In a multimillion-dollar lawsuit, she alleged that Combs drugged her and forced her to have sex with other men. The pair settled the lawsuit a day after its filing.

Two more accusers came forward a week after Cassie. One of the women claimed Combs drugged and raped her at Syracuse University in New York in 1991. Combs has denied these allegations before a third accuser, named Liza Gardner, levied similar allegations against him.
In that case, Gardner claimed Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall drugged and raped her and a friend following an Uptown Records event in 1990. Gardner said she was 16 at the time of the incident. She also accused Combs of choking her a day after the assault. A male record producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr., has also made similar charges in another lawsuit.
Combs, who has not been formally charged, has denied the mounting allegations against him. His attorney called last month’s raids a “witch hunt.”
