Pennsylvania Double Murder Suspect Commits Suicide on West Virginia Highway – Crime Online

A Pennsylvania murder suspect killed himself in West Virginia Monday morning after a pursuit along Interstate 79 in Charleston.

Kanawha County deputies said they got information that the suspect in a double murder in Allegheny County was in their area at about 6 a.m. and spotted the black Acura about an hour later, WSAZ reported.

Officers surrounded the vehicle and shut down the highway, calling for the suspect, identified as 50-year-old Dennis Rahuba, to come out. Instead, they heard what sounded like a gunshot.

Investigators brought in a SWAT team that confirmed Rahuba was dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Allegheny County Police said in a Facebook post that Rahuba was wanted in a double shooting overnight in Scott Township. They said first responder conducted a welfare check and found a 53-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman dead from gunshot wounds.

They identified Rahuba as the suspect and put out bulletins for him and his car.

Investigators said the double murder was “domestic in nature” but have not described the connection between Rahuba and the victims.
