Funeral Services for Jessica Harrison, 44, of Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Ft. Yates, will be held at 1:00 PM (CT), Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Kesling Funeral Home Chapel in Mobridge. Burial will be in the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Ft. Yates under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. 

Jessica Marie Harrison, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 44 in Fargo, North Dakota. Born on May 23, 1980, in Fort Yates, North Dakota. Jessica was a beacon of kindness with a dash of sass, known for her ability to brighten any room and be a dependable rock for those she loved.

Jessica’s journey through life was marked by her generous spirit and her unwavering support for her family and friends. Her sweet demeanor, coupled with a delightful touch of sass, made her a cherished confidante and a joy to be around. Whether it was lending a listening ear or offering a shoulder to lean on, Jessica’s presence was a comforting constant in the lives of many.

Jessica was very proud of her nursing career as a certified nurse’s assistant which she did for 14 years until she was no longer able to do, due to a back injury that happened on the job. Jessica received her CNA license at Job Corps in Minot, ND in 2003.

She is survived by her son, Jaden Reed, and his partner, Alaina McClain, and her daughter, Maggie Reed, who were the pride and joy of her life. Jessica’s love for her children was boundless, and she always ensured they felt supported and cherished. When anyone would talk with Jessica they would also get to know who Jaden and Maggie were, they were the center of her universe and the air that she breathed. 

Jessica leaves behind her loving mother who was her greatest supporter and confidante, Peggy Harrison, and her sissy’s, Peggy Jo (Steve) Walby, Shellie Harrison, Bobbie Jo (Dwight) Kraft, Alisa (Wayne) Fonder, and Margaret (Chris) Ferrari. Nieces & Nephews who she cherished dearly, Kacie Harrison, Layne Hintz, Lucas Iron Shield, Machela (Mikki) Harrison, Isaiah Harrison, Quincy Harrison, Nevada Seda, Jasiah Harrison, Ariah Ferrari, Evelyn Ferrari & Tamara Cheauma. Great Nephews, Brayden (her boy), Noah, Hayden, Cactus, Liam & Luka. Auntie Jessie created countless adventures and memories with her nieces and nephews forming a bond that was both deep and unbreakable. Hunka family, Mama Nola Silk, Mama Bernadine Eagle, Grandma Cookie. Hunka Sisters, Crystal Silk & family, Vanessa (Ness) Taylor & many more. On behalf of Jessica’s family we apologize we know we missed listing many of Jessica’s friends.  
She was preceded in death by her, paternal grandparents Gene & Margaret Edstrom of Gordon, NE, maternal grandparents Henry & Lizzy Harrison of Fort Yates, ND, Hunka family, Rhiannon (Rose) Silk, Jesse Bendickson & Lillian Eagle, dad Joseph (Joe) Harrison, whom she is now reunited with all in peace.

The legacy of Jessica’s warmth and compassion lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her family and friends will forever remember her laughter, her strength, and her ability to make everyone feel special. Though she is no longer with us, Jessica’s spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness and love.

As we gather to celebrate Jessica’s life, we remember the joy she brought into our lives. Her legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and a mischievous sparkle that will never fade. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.
