What Lala Kent has shared about her eye abnormality being diagnosed as pre-cancerous
Lala confirmed the update on her eye abnormality last week, in which she opened up in detail about how she learned about the pre-cancer diagnosis. This came days after she posted about noticing the eye growth around Mother’s Day. Lala went to an eye doctor and later got a second opinion.
“So I got a text from the doctor that I went and saw last night at 10:30 p.m. I’m so grateful, he said that the specialist can see you tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. So I was there at 9 a.m., she looked at it, she said, ‘That it is pre-cancer,'” Lala said in an emotional update on her Instagram Stories.Â
Lala Kent reveals her treatment plan in her health journey with her pre-cancer diagnosis
Lala went on to detail the treatment plan for the abnormality on her eye, revealing that she will be treating the issue with chemotherapy drops. “And she said, ‘I want to start you on chemotherapy drops.’ Now I know that sounds terrifying. I cried, obviously, because the moment you hear that word,” Lala said. “She said, ‘I want you to do the chemo drops for 3 months. We’re going to do a week of them and then go off for 3 weeks, and we’re going to do that for 3 months.'”
Lala further added, “At that point in time, God willing, it kills all of the cancerous cells. If it doesn’t, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it and talk about surgery. So there’s the update.”
