Summer House Season 9 newbie, Bailee Henderson, is showing us what her life looks like in the Big Apple. When Bailee isn’t partying it up in the Hamptons, she is living her best life in New York City, which she loves to document on both Instagram and TikTok.
She recently gave a look into her life and how she ended up in NYC in a Reel posted to her Instagram feed earlier this month.”This is Bailee,” the video narrator stated, over clips of her dancing, riding the subway, and traipsing around the city. “An actor and content creator. She earned a scholarship to study television and film. She moved from Kentucky to the bustling streets of New York, juggled multiple jobs, including managing social media for a luxury company that shall remain unnamed, then realized she wanted to pursue her own path.”
Bailee also showed off what her life looks like today, which includes submitting self-tapes for auditions, collaborating with brands, and creating new content. “Sometimes I don’t understand what she’s doing, or why, but she’s living her life to the fullest,” the narrator stated. “And creating the best memories.”
Amanda Batula says Bailee Henderson is “quirky and spunky”
In case the video above wasn’t enough proof of Bailee’s fun personality, take Summer House cast member Amanda Batula’s word for it. Bailee was introduced to the house during Summer House Season 9, Episode 1, by Amanda. “Bailee and I have mutual friends that we met through,” she explained during a confessional in the episode. “She’s just like, a quirky, spunky girl. I get her awkwardness. I appreciate it.”
What happened to Bailee Henderson on Summer House?
During her time on Summer House, the NYC-based influencer partied with the cast, became friends with fellow newbie Lexi Wood, and dropped a major bombshell about Lexi’s relationship with Jesse Solomon. After appearing on the first few episodes of Summer House Season 9, Bailee did not return to the share house in Episode 4. “I think she’s having boyfriend issues,” Lexi admitted.
Bailee did, however, return in Summer House Season 9, Episode 8, where she reunited with the cast in NYC for a kickball game.Â

Yes, she is. Bailee has recently featured her boyfriend, Shiv, on her Instagram and TikTok accounts. She took to TikTok on May 15, where she made a big declaration ahead of their upcoming African safari in early June. “I think I might be getting engaged,” she admitted.
Bailee then went on to explain the origins of their relationship. “My boyfriend and I met at a park, Tompkins Square Park, we were having a picnic, we got pizza, I think we were both kind of seeing other people, we even talked to each other about our relationships and everything and how it felt like we were missing something…Boom, we’re dating,” she explained.
