It’s not often that yachties end a charter season as friends, but (most of!) the crew of Katina in Season 3’s Below Deck Down Under is sticking together, even on dry land. Deckhand Adair Werley revealed they all still talk to this day in a group chat.
“We keep up and share photos and memories and things,” she said in an interview with The Daily Dish. “Somebody sends something, and then next thing you know, we’re all just laughing and chatting and catching up. It’s a good time to hear from everybody.”
Of course, there have been some major updates since Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under. From boatmances to broken hearts and busted friendships, keep reading to answer all your biggest questions after the end of Season 3.
Where are Harry and Brianna now?
Although Harry Van Vliet and Brianna Duffield defined themselves as “exclusive partners” and even uttered the “B” and “G” titles by the end of the season, Brianna still had reservations as they departed Katina hand in hand.
“I do worry a little bit about my future with Harry, because we don’t know what’s going to happen when we’re off the boat,” she said pon Episode 17.
Despite those reservations, the two planned to travel after they left.
“Now we get to celebrate,” she told Harry. “All over the world for the next year.”
Harry was full of great optimism for their future.
“I have not felt this way about a girl for a long, long, long time,” he confessed on Episode 17. “We’ve had so many great memories, and we’re just going to make more. I don’t think I’ve ever maybe felt this excited before in my life.”
But Harry revealed on March 12’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that he’s currently “single” and “on the prowl.”
Bri admitted the two are still “very, very close” and “talk often” when she was on WWHL on April 12. Chief stew Lara Rigby, who played cupid for the couple at the start of their boatmance, admitted keeping it up can be hard.
“You work away from each other,” she said in an interview with The Daily Dish. “You’ve got the distance and things like that. So, I think they had a lovely relationship and a lovely time together, and they’re still friends, which is, you know, the best thing that can come out of it.”
Where does Lara and Tzarina’s friendship stand now?
Although Lara and head chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph previously worked on a boat together, and had high hopes for this charter season, they battled from the start. By Episode 17, Lara ended their friendship.
“It’s a shame because you don’t have my back. And like our friendship — I don’t know if I can do this,” she told Tzarina in their shared cabin.
Tzarina made it clear there was no love lost between them.
“I’ve been fighting for Lara’s approval all season. I’m done. You don’t want to be my friend? That’s absolutely fine. I’m more than happy to avoid the cool girl clique,” she said in her confessional.
But while Lara and Tzarina’s friendship faded, Lara grew closer to her stew, Brianna.
“I had a conversation with Tzarina. I feel like it’s the end of an era for us,” Lara told Bri in Episode 17. “I’ve lost one, but I’ve gained a million times over with you. Honestly, I’m so happy I met you.”
While Lara is onto her next yacht, so is Tzarina, in Boca Raton, Florida.
“We’re not in touch at the moment,” Lara told The Daily Dish.
Are Harry and Tzarina still friends now?
Harry and Tzarina started off Season 3 as friends from their time together on Season 2’s Below Deck Down Under and left Katina in a good place. But much has changed since the yacht docked.
“Well, I was really happy to have Harry there…but I actually didn’t speak to him for a good six months because I felt like he didn’t support me like I supported him,” Tzarina revealed to The Daily Dish in February 2025.
Harry shared on May 19’s WWHL that they still aren’t speaking “at the moment.”
“I got blocked by Tzarina on Instagram after expressing my feelings and thoughts,” he said.
Harry is still optimistic the two will work it out.
“Everyone processes it differently,” he said. “And it’ll be all right in the end, I’m sure. Everyone’s going through something.”
Where is Lara Rigby today?
Lara called Season 3 “the best experience of my life” when saying farewell to Captain Jason Chambers, but she also confessed it was “personally probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
She’s still on the high seas as a chief stew currently, and shared that she’s working with a familiar face: Below Deck Mediterranean’s chef Johnathan Shillingford, who often goes by Jono.
“He’s been a great support,” she told The Daily Dish. “We’re on a busy charter yacht, so we’re getting ready for the season together, and yeah, it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Are Marina and Nicolas still dating?
Although they were only together a few charters, stewardess Marina de Barros and deckhand Nicolas Cattelan made plans to spend time off the boat together.
“I don’t want you thinking that I don’t want you in South Africa,” she told him in Episode 17. “I’m just too shy to ask you to come. But like f—k it. I really want you every single day there. I want to like wake up, have breakfast with you, and like make the best out of the week we’d have together.”
“I would love to join you,” he answered.
Marina admitted to The Daily Dish she took a “sabbatical” after Season 3, and went to South Africa, but it’s unclear if she’s still with Nicolas.
“I don’t want to have any expectations about where this goes. I’m just going to appreciate what we have while we have it,” he said on Episode 17.
What is Marina doing now?
Marina got a big promotion during Season 3.
“This season was exactly what I needed, not only personally but professionally,” she said on Episode 17. “I’m a second stew because I worked my ass off to be here. So now I’m heading to the Med to work on a boat and do as many charters as I can, so I can make as much money as I can.”
Marina told The Daily Dish she’s currently a second stew on a 60-meter yacht with seasons in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
“I couldn’t feel happier than I am right now,” she said in the interview. “Whenever the opportunities arise, I’ll be able to become a chief stew, which is my main goal in this job, so yeah, things look really nice for me right now.”
Where is Alesia Harris?
Although sous chef Alesia Harris and bosun Nate Salmon shared a few “smoochies” during the charter season, she decided to focus her mind on cooking rather than romance.
“The vibe between Nate and I, it’s not really changed,” she confessed in Episode 17. “At the end of the day, I like Nate, but I’ve really fallen in love with cooking, and I just want to concentrate on being the best sous chef I can.”
Although Nate was disappointed, he shared it hasn’t dimmed his search for love.
“I can’t wait to find the yin to my yang,” he said on the show. “I’m going to keep looking for the one. But for now, the love of my life is the sea. She’s the one.”
Alesia also revealed her plans for the future.
“I’m going to apply for culinary schools. And I look forward to being a head chef one day. Watch out, Gordon Ramsay, I’m coming for you!” she said.
What is Adair doing now?
Adair left Katina positive about her future as a yachtie.
“I’m excited. I feel like I’m on the ball. I want to keep going. I want to keep rolling,” she told Captain Jason.
And he paid her a big compliment in return.
“You went from zero to hero,” he replied. “Honestly…I think you walk away from here with the most growth we had on this boat.”
Adair told The Daily Dish she’s currently working full-time on a private charter yacht and has been in the French Caribbean for about three months.
“I’m a full-time deckhand right now,” she said in the interview. “Traveling, and I love it. And it’s a wonderful job. I’m enjoying being on the water every day.”
And she’s also made a great lifelong friend in Marina.
“I talk to Adair every single day. I see Adair more than I see my family, which is so weird, but I love her to death,” Marina told The Daily Dish. “After New York, I’m going to her house in Georgia, and finally meeting her house, her sister—so it’s really nice. I’m really blessed to have met these amazing people.”
