Riley Burruss’ relationship with her mom, Kandi Burruss, and dad, Russell “Block” Spencer, was documented on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The Next Gen NYC cast member recently took to social media, where she gave a look at the relationship with her dad today.
The NYU graduate took to TikTok on May 16, where she posted a video of her and her dad, out at a restaurant, lip synching along to a TikTok sound. In the video, an audio can be heard going over basic things in a relationship. “Whenever we were walking out of the restaurant, he opened the door for me,” the audio said.
“Bare minimum,” Riley and Russell chimed in, lip synching along to the track.
This video is so funny and offers just a peek inside of their sweet, playful relationship that they have grown to have. “Bare minimum!” Riley wrote in the caption of the post. “Don’t let my dad catch you.”
She also shared the moment to Instagram, captioning it, “Don’t make me call my dad.”
Who is Riley Burruss’ dad, Russell “Block” Spencer?
Russell is the founder of Block Entertainment, an Atlanta based record label that is home to artists like Boyz N Da Hood. In a 2016 interview with The Daily Dish, Kandi admitted that she had kept much of their relationship off camera. “For me, that was never anything I want to exploit, the relationship between my daughter and her father.”
Back in March of this year, Block posted a photo with Riley in which he declared it, “”take ur daughter to work-DAY” as he took meetings at a record label and brought Riley along.
Riley Burruss opens up about her relationship with stepdad, Todd Tucker
Riley has also been very open about her relationship with Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, whom Kandi married in 2014. Kandi and Todd have two children together — 9-year-old son, Ace Tucker, and 5-year-old daughter, Blaze Tucker. Todd also has a daughter, Kaela, from a previous relationship.
In a 2021 interview with BravoTV.com, Riley admitted that Todd was the “cool” parent in the relationship.
“I feel like he’s the type where there’s a lot of times when me and my mom may disagree or she may say no, but then he’ll kind of convince her and be like, ‘Come on. Let her do this, relax,'” she said. “I guess, [he’s] the cool one who tries to, like, get my mom to relax.”
Riley Burruss shares an update on her little siblings, Ace and Blaze Tucker
The aspiring law student recently spoke to The Daily Dish, where she opened up about her relationship with her little siblings today. “They’re doing really good,” she said of Ace and Blaze in an interview last month. “I love them both.”
“My little brother, he’s really sweet, he’s so sweet,” she said of Ace. “I’m so surprised ’cause I feel like the rest of us are crazy. And he’s the sweetest person in our family. So that’s really nice.”
Blaze, on the other hand, is “so sassy,” according to Riley. “But she’s so cute and fun,” she added. “And whenever I go home, she always loves to just run into my room [and] take all of my makeup. She makes me do her lip liner and lip gloss. Like, she’s amazing.”
