Next Gen NYC is giving an inside look at Chloe Marks‘ life like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans have never seen before.
Though viewers previously only got rare glimpses at Meredith Marks‘ 23-year-old daughter on RHOSLC, Chloe put her romantic life on full display during the Next Gen NYC premiere — and has already found herself wrapped up in some of the series’ earliest drama.
After going on a date with brother Brooks Marks‘ friend and castmate Charlie Zakkour, she described the outing as “fun,” but not “that deep.” That was, until Brooks filled her in afterward on an “offensive” and “gross” text from Charlie which he described as saying “something like, ‘Come meet us out later tonight if we’re not already back at my place.'”
Chloe’s take? “I’m gonna vomit,” she told her older brother. “In what hemisphere does he think I would go home with him on a first date?”
As the “disrespectful texts,” as Brooks dubbed them, begin to cause serious tension between him and Charlie on Next Gen NYC, here’s everything to know about Chloe.
Who is Chloe Marks?
Chloe is the youngest child and only daughter of RHOSLC’s Meredith and Seth Marks. After living in major cities such as Chicago and Los Angeles, she is currently based in Manhattan, along with her older brothers Brooks, 25, and Reid, 28.
Meredith has previously described Chloe as someone who possesses “strength, kindness, and intelligence.”
What does Chloe Marks do for a living?
After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in business, Chloe interned with Fendi for six months, according to her LinkedIn.
Since April 2024, she has worked in her current role as the director of business development for Meredith Marks LLC, her mom’s company which encompasses jewelry design, boutiques, and an eponymous caviar line. Indeed, Chloe was on hand snapping behind-the-scenes content at Meredith and Brooks’ photo shoot on the Next Gen NYC premiere.
In addition to a personal Instagram, she also runs What Chloe Craves, a social media account she describes as “a look into what I eat.”
Shortly after Chloe’s college graduation, Meredith exclusively told BravoTV.com that her daughter has both the “business mind and creative mind.”
Inside Chloe Marks’ bond with her family
If it wasn’t already clear, Chloe has an extremely tight relationship with her family.
The day after Next Gen NYC premiered, Chloe called Brooks “a star” in a June 4 Instagram caption, prompting him to playfully argue that she is “the real star” in one of his several praise-filled comments.
As illustrated by other various social media birthday tributes for her family, Chloe further referred to Brooks as her “bestie for life”; Meredith as “the best momma ever”; Seth as “the best dad in the world”; and brother Reid as her “ride or die.”
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Brooks also opened up about what it was like filming Next Gen NYC with Chloe.
“I feel grateful that she’s a part of it,” he gushed. “I feel like she fits in well with this whole group and she brings a lot when she’s around. And, obviously, I’m so close with my sister, and it’s so nice to get her to have to be a part of this journey.”
Who is Chloe Marks dating?
Though she has kept her current relationship status under wraps, Chloe was single when she filmed Next Gen NYC last summer.
Charlie asked if she had a boyfriend on Episode 1, to which Chloe replied, “I don’t know. I’m, like, the first time being single in so long, I kind of just want to, like, experience being independent. And then if something with the right person happens, then that happens.”
While on her first date with Charlie, she also described her dating “icks”: “when a guy is, like, struggling to open an umbrella and it’s, like, flipping back and forth” and “when you’re going through security at an airport and taking your shoes off and, like, walking through the machine barefoot.”
When he asked her to clarify if it was the bare feet or socks that turned her off, she responded, “Both. Barefoot’s like [a] line drawn in the sand.”
