The juggle is real for Fredrik Eklund.
While it can be difficult to balance fitness, family, and a busy career, the Million Dollar Listing New York alum has successfully achieved what many parents have deemed impossible. Need proof? Then look no further than his Instagram page, where he regularly shares updates on his home life, work projects, and impressive fitness transformation. Fans got another look at the latter over Father’s Day weekend, when Fredrik revealed his body fat/weight stats.
“Current body fat 10%,” he captioned the shirtless selfie, “while I just hit 220 pounds for the first time in my life.”

It was quite a feat for the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum, who upped his workout regimen late last year. Fredrik documented the early stages of his health kick in a series of November 2024 Instagram Stories, saying he was taking “mini-steps” to get back into shape.
Several months later, Fredrik shared additional insight into his workout regimen and overall drive.
“After 14 hours of work: finished gym,” he captioned a mirror selfie. “I’m in a new phase of discipline, we’ll see how long it will last… and I’m still wearing the pants.”
Fredrik returned to the ’Gram shortly after to celebrate another milestone in his fitness journey.
“Finally got over 200 pounds of muscle,” he wrote in the Story, which showed a Rice Lake Healthweigh scale with 202 pounds displayed on the screen.

Fredrik spoke about his health and fitness must-haves in a 2013 feature for Equinox, revealing his favorite workout gear and typical diet.
“My husband cooks a lot, or I cook for him,” he said about his hubby, Derek Kaplan, with whom he shares 7-year-old twins Milla and Freddy. “We do lots of vegetables, chicken, fish —always healthy, clean and fresh. I don’t like to eat out because I have a tendency to overeat. Especially now that I’m a little older, it goes straight to my stomach, and it’s harder and harder to stay as fit as I want. And drinking wine at night right before bed just makes me feel really gross, so I try to stay away.”

Fredrik also explained how he finds time to work out while overseeing a booming real estate empire, which often requires international travel.
“I literally work in the gym while I’m working out,” he said. “I have a company in Sweden and because of the time difference I am already behind like six hours. I have to run up and out on the street sometimes. It’s crazy, I know, but I do it. I would never have time to work out if I didn’t simultaneously do office work. People always say they’re too busy, but if you do 200 emails while you’re lifting weights, it’s pretty close to being in the office.”
