Angela Oakley has opened up about her age and revealed her exact birthday.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer appeared on Carlos King’s podcast, Reality with the King, earlier this week, where she confirmed that she is “44 to be exact.” The real estate investor then grabbed her passport for the podcast host to reveal her birthdate.
“All right, we got Angela Oakley. Guys, I’m looking at it,” he said. “May 4, 1981.”
“I could not believe that people were questioning my age,” she noted.

Angela took to her Instagram account on May 4, 2023, where she celebrated herself on her big day two years ago. “Happy birthday to meeeee!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “SO BLESSED, so excited, SO MOTIVATED, so LOVED. New complaints, Sorta new business endeavors.”
Angela Oakley shares her advice for her younger self
Angela recently spoke with The Daily Dish, where she shared her advice for her younger self. “F—k what everyone thinks, you know?” she said with a laugh.
“Like, I used to live for other people, and now I’m like, those people don’t even matter,” she admitted. “And just do what you want to do. Go for it. Forget about the criticism, forget about all the naysayers, and just be true to yourself. It took me a while for me to get there, but I’m here now.”
Angela Oakley opens up about the bond with her daughter
Angela and her husband, retired NBA player Charles Oakley, have a very close blended family. Angela has her 24-year-old daughter, Ahmauri, and 11-year-old son, Avan, from previous relationships, while Charles has his son, Charlie Jr., also from a previous relationship. Together, the couple shares their 7-year-old daughter, Arleigh.
During RHOA Season 16, Episode 5, Angela opened up about the close bond that she shares with her eldest daughter. “My daughter, Ahmauri, my oldest, lost her father when she was 7 years old. He was murdered in Chicago,” she revealed during a confessional. “And so, I was a single mom for a long time. So that, in and of itself, created this super tight bond with my daughter and I, and we’ve been rockin’ ever since. I adore my children, and they are the best part of me.”
So, Angela was upset when Ahmauri got married, but did not tell her for four months. “I found out that Ahmauri got married, and it just rocked me to my core,” she said in a confessional. “It was very, very hurtful. She’s my best friend, and for her not to want me to know, is hard.”
