They’ve dated, gotten engaged (and even re-engaged), welcomed a daughter together, and gone their separate ways, but Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley are still never far from each other these days. Has Porsha closed the door completely on getting back together with the Atlanta-based entrepreneur? The answer is complicated.
“You know what? Dennis is just a jewel,” Porsha stated during Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 reunion. “That is why I was so protective of our relationship. Because I needed to have my co-parent while dealing with this divorce [from Simon Guobadia] with Pilar.”
She further described their relationship as full of chatting and gossiping: “You know what I’m saying? We just be kiki-ing.”
Although Porsha remained mum at the reunion filmed in June about a future romantic relationship with Dennis, she was very firm on her answer when asked during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 9.
“No, no, no,” she told Andy Cohen. “I’ve tried. I’ve thought about it. I’ve prayed about it. But it’s just not in the stars for us.”

Where Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora stand today after Dennis McKinley drama
Although she’s not dating Dennis, Porsha emphasized during the reunion Part 1 that he’s still an important part of her life—which is why she was upset that he was working and filming with Drew Sidora during the season.
“Dennis is a part of my storyline. He is my family. And you put yourself in the middle of the storyline,” she accused Drew during the July 13 episode.
Porsha was so upset by Dennis filming with Drew that she even filmed with Drew’s estranged husband, Ralph Pittman. But Drew defended her relationship with Dennis as business, not pleasure, as he worked with her on producing her music.
“Where the cameras catch me, they catch me. If they catch me in the studio, great. Dennis and I weren’t ever getting together to diminish you, [or] disrespect you, so that was not true,” Drew said.
Porsha also claimed she viewed a text message from Dennis to Drew that insinuated Drew wanted a physical relationship with Dennis.
“His message stood out, which was, ‘I’m not gonna blank you, I want my money for the studio,’” Porsha explained at the reunion.
But Drew once again claimed it was only ever a business relationship: “This is the business that I operate in. So there’s no mistake. This wasn’t just a homie hookup. We actually conducted real business.”
Porsha then apologized at the reunion for filming with Ralph earlier in the season.
“Watching the season back, even though at the time I felt justified, I still did not feel good about it, Drew,” Porsha admitted. “And I cared about you. I really did. And so today I definitely knew I wanted to apologize for that, because no matter how upset we are with this situation, it still could have been talked through. I just wanted to tell you woman to woman, who’s also going through a divorce, it wasn’t right and I apologize for that.”

Porsha also spoke candidly at the reunion about her second husband Simon Guobadia and their (at the time, pending) divorce. She also took a moment to clear the air on the situation involving their previously shared home.

“He bought the home prior to us getting married, and the prenup had certain stipulations which makes it a marital home,” she shared. “Whether I decide to keep it or sell it, I still want to be able to maintain it, because that’s the only thing that I have in the divorce that was important.”
