The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Britani Bateman and Jared Osmond have broken up, six months after making their relationship official.
Britani spoke with Us Weekly in June, where she shared a major update on their relationship. “Last week, Jared Osmond broke up with me for the first time in two whole years,” she said about the split. “He broke up with me. It’s just a shocker.”
She went on to reveal that she had been in contact with Jared since the split. “A couple of days ago, he came begging back. He begged me back,” she revealed. “He came and knocked on my window at 8 a.m. in the morning, and I was trying to sleep…I was like, ‘What is happening?’ I was rubbing the crusties out of my eyes, checking my breath.”
Jared confirmed the split to the publication and admitted that he had not “been all in” with his relationship to Britani.
Does Britani Bateman want to get back together with Jared Osmond?
It’s a possibility. The actress and singer admitted to the publication that she is now focusing on her future after their split, but she is ready for Jared to “come back” to her once he figures things out.
“We don’t want the same things,” she said. “I gave him a list of what I need out of a relationship to make it work, and he said, ‘I can’t comply.’ I said, ‘OK, well, come back to me when you’re ready to.’ I’m single as of a week ago. I’m doing great. I’ve got my daughter with me. I’m focusing on my girls. What’s more important than that?”
Jared Osmond addresses the breakup with Britani Bateman
In a statement to Us Weekly, Jared had nothing but positive words for his ex. “I will always love Britani,” he admitted. “She is a wonderful woman. She speaks so poorly of me sometimes, but I will speak highly of her because she’s an amazing girl.”

Britani appeared on the podcast, Reality Court, on June 18, where she dished on her breakup with Jared. “My heart’s broken, but like that, everyone kind of asked me, because obviously we’re dysfunctional. And I’ve had so many people ask me, like, yes, OK, you guys desperately love each other. Alright, we get it,” she said.

“But love isn’t everything,” she noted. “You have to be compatible. You have to be compatible. You have to want the same things. And so when is enough going to be enough, Britani?”

Britani had opened up about her relationship with Jared, a musician and Donny Osmond’s nephew, during the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere.
“Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we’ve broken up 16 times, I want to say. A lot,” she explained during a confessional during RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 1. “I feel like I’m on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together. It’s like, ‘Ugh, I’m a crazy person,’ but there’s something about him. Mm, he’s yummy.”
