Now, Nicolet Law has expanded to three states and employs dozens of staff members, all working collaboratively toward a singular goal. In doing so, Russell has sought to cultivate insight and knowledge from the best attorneys in the business. Before expanding his office, he traveled to Florida, Georgia, New York, and California. Russell learned and trained with some of the world’s best injury law attorneys in these vastly different legal territories. Through these methods, he has built a work system that supports quality advocacy at scale, empowering his staff to deliver individualized care in a volume-based field.
Continuous Professional Evolution
Russell considers his desire to continuously improve himself a “long-term investment in intellectual capital” that benefits his fellow attorneys and clients.
In setting up his law office, he encountered many challenges.
Still, as Russell says, “The big thing I did to overcome these obstacles was to work at getting more knowledgeable and improving continuously. Improving my skills, my knowledge, and finding some early mentors in the legal profession who were kind enough to give me a hand. I spent a lot of time as a young attorney doing research in the Washington County Law Library to make sure that I could effectively handle cases for clients, even though I was a brand-new attorney.”
To this day, Russell and his team work tirelessly to garner as much information and experience as possible for each case.

As a young attorney, Russell learned much from seasoned attorneys willing to mentor and demonstrate their approaches. Now, he looks forward to paying that due diligence by developing talent within his firm.
