The Next Gen NYC Season 1 finale wrapped with a bombshell reveal: Georgia McCann and boyfriend Omar broke up.Â
Their split was particularly stunning considering that throughout the course of the July 22 episode, Georgia had first announced that she and Omar had decided to be exclusive and then, updated viewers that they decided to move in together since they were “spending every day together” anyway.
Georgia and Omar’s breakup occurred following a “fight” during their Christmas vacation in Singapore, leaving her scrambling to find a new place to live. Luckily, castmate Charlie Zakkour came though, despite their ups and downs throughout the season.
“Shocking turn of events: Charlie and I are roommates,” Georgia shared on Episode 8. “[Omar]Â had his assistant pack up my belongings, and my stuff was packed and outside of Charlie’s apartment before I even got back to the US. I was still in Singapore.”

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Georgia shared more intel on what really happened behind the scenes.Â
“The breakup with Omar was logistically rough because we were living together and the end was quite messy,” she shared. “I’m doing well now and focusing on my dream life and not [living] vicariously through someone else.”

Further complicating matters was the fact that Omar was also Georgia’s “business partner” and planned to both invest in her bowling alley-themed “Club Club” and also help her find other investors. As seen in the Next Gen NYC finale, Georgia said on TikTok that Omar cut her off financially.
As such, Georgia had to table the Club Club idea in the aftermath of their parting ways, romantically: “There was some drama with that once the breakup with Omar happened; it’s a long story. I have the renders that are solely based on my creative direction and club ethos that look fabulous — the concept was based on my experience!”

Joking that “dating has been interesting,” Georgia said that she was “recently seeing another crypto guy who wanted me to travel the world with him.”
She continued, “But I ultimately decided to not pursue this relationship and stay in New York to focus on my career.”

Indeed, the group’s resident event planner is still on her “NYC hustle and grind, as usual,” amid booming business.
“I’m working on other projects outside of the event space geared more to world domination which I plan to announce in the coming weeks and months,” she joked, adding, “Bigger and better things are on the horizon!”

Georgia has also kept in touch with Next Gen NYC castmates Ariana Biermann, Ava Dash, Brooks Marks, Hudson McLeroy, and Shai Fruchter.
“I’ve been keeping up and hanging out with Ava and Brooks a lot,” she said. “I have also been running into Ariana and Hudson, which has been nice. Shai and I also have been talking a decent amount.”
As she further revealed, though, “I do not speak to Charlie at all,” amid his and Omar’s business relationship.
