Cynthia Bailey’s second-choice reunion gown was too good to go unseen.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend showed off her alternate look on Sunday, July 27, shortly after the third and final installment of the RHOA Season 16 reunion. Cynthia posted a grip of photos of her modeling a canary-yellow organza dress with a sheer overlay and rosette detailing throughout.
“This was my second option for my reunion look,” she captioned the carousel. “Did I make the right choice or should I have worn this one?”

The garment was created by contemporary womenswear brand Jovani, a favorite among the Housewives. (Cynthia’s good friend, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps, even has a song dedicated to the label.)

Although she looked fantastic in the tulle design, Cynthia ultimately attended the reunion in another Jovani dress. She stepped out in a sunshine yellow strapless gown with a dramatic leg slit, a cutout detail under the bust, and pleating across the bodice and down the skirt.
“I’m so happy that we’re wearing yellow, because lord knows we need all the brightness, all the light that we can get,” Cynthia said backstage.
“It also gives a little bit of old Hollywood glam, which I love, of course, as an ‘up-and-coming’ actress,” she added in an email.
Following the Season 16 reunion finale, Cynthia shared a quick message for her castmates, thanking them “for all the love, kindness & memories & the warm welcome back.” Several years after exiting RHOA, the mother of one returned in a “friend of” role for Season 16.

But Cynthia wasn’t the only Atlanta mom to make a comeback. After a two-season break, Porsha Williams reclaimed her peach for Season 16. Her big return shed more light on her tumultuous divorce from Simon Guobadia, her shifting friendship dynamics, and her coparenting relationship with Dennis McKinley — the father of her 6-year-old daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley.

Porsha reflected on the season in a July 27 Instagram post, in which she rocked her Rey Ortiz reunion dress with little PJ by her side.
“That’s a wrap on Sweet 16 [RHOA]!” she captioned the carousel. “I’m still here … By his Grace! Thank you Jesus and in my right mind. Love you [hashtag] TeamPorsha and thank you for your support and for being with me on this journey called life. PS: I can’t take Pj in her reunion shoes.”
