After 45 years of marriage, Rick Hilton is still “loving life” with his beautiful bride, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kathy Hilton, giving us all some serious relationship goals.
Rick and Kathy enjoy one of Bravo’s longest-standing relationships after meeting as teens and tying the knot in 1979. These days, the pair are still enjoying the good life, as they spoil their pups, spend time with friends, and take in some of Hollywood’s most iconic events side by side.

The couple’s love was on full display in a recent snapshot that showed the two adorably smiling into the camera as they donned sunglasses and some casual summer attire. Rick topped his outfit off with a black baseball cap that said “Hilton” in a nod to the family’s famous hotel empire. “Kathy and Rick loving life!” Rick captioned the image, posted on his Instagram on June 26.
The candid shot even earned a heart-eyed smiley emoji from daughter Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
In another image posted days earlier, Rick was raring to go at an outdoor event as he smiled for the camera. “Start me UP,” he wrote. This time, it was daughter Paris Hilton who lent support with a heart-shaped eye smiley face emoji of her own.
The same day, Rick took to Instagram to share a video of Kathy happily dancing with friends at La Guérite – Cannes, an epic rooftop terrace facing the ocean in France. “Now we’re dancing!” he wrote.

Kathy, who was sitting on the back of a bench, can be seen waving her arms in the air, bouncing to the beat and singing along to Earth, Wind & Fire’s hit “September.”
In another shot, Kathy — dressed in a breezy red summer dress — is sitting with a friend at the hotspot in front of the ocean backdrop.

When the couple isn’t jet setting off to Cannes, they find plenty of ways to enjoy themselves back home, too. Rick shared another adorable picture from the backyard of their Los Angeles home of two of their dogs getting in some pool time while lounging on two large swan floats.
“Beautiful day for the dogs to sunbathe,” he captioned the image from May 2.
While the couple clearly knows how to relax in style, they’ve also been known to hit the town to attend some of Hollywood’s biggest nights. In March, Rick shared an image of the two dressed to the nines as they got ready to head off “to the Oscars!”
Kathy was channeling Oscar gold as she wore a glitzy gold gown that fell just above the knees perfectly paired with a matching gold cape as Rick was looking as debonair as ever in a dark suit, white dress shirt and bright blue dress scarf.
What’s the Secret to Kathy and Rick Hilton’s Marriage?
The couple, who share four children together, rang in their 45th anniversary in November 2024 with a celebratory trip to Paris and London.
While speaking with People, Kathy shared the secret to the longevity of their union. “And, I was just saying to someone, getting married so young like that — I was 19 and he was 23 — [the key is] just keeping the right people around you, the right influences, and being around other couples who are happy [and] have the same values as you,” she said.

Kathy added in another People interview a month earlier that the couple has never been away from each other for more than two weeks throughout their entire relationship. “I don’t think you go to bed without saying, ‘I love you,’ and giving each other a kiss and never in a fight or anything,” she shared. “If you have had a disagreement, you always make up before you go to sleep and keep a little mystery and always keep it exciting and fun.”
