A Texas woman is behind bars in Florida for attempting to kill a former friend of hers at a 7-Eleven last month — plunging a knife into the victim after agreeing to “meet in Miami to fight” and then bragging about it on social media, cops say.
“Call me Chucky and Michael Myers ho,” said Shakia Jenkins, 29, of Houston, in an Instagram Live video reviewed by the Miami Police Department, according to her criminal complaint.
“That ho can have fingerprints, evidence, I don”t give a flying f—,” Jenkins allegedly said after being asked “why you stabbed that girl?” by a viewer in reference to the victim’s murder on July 15. “That ho lucky her family ain’t making a GoFundMe right now b—.”

Police say Jenkins attacked the victim, who was not named in the complaint, in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood with a “small black knife” following a spat at the upscale hookah lounge Uncut Miami earlier in the evening. The pair allegedly exited their vehicles and “approached each other” after arriving at the convenience store to fight before things almost turned deadly.
“During the fight, the victim felt a sharp object stabbing her in the face and yelled, ‘She’s stabbing me,'” the complaint alleges.
Video recordings from Instagram and Facebook that were reviewed by police investigators, along with written statements she made in posts, allegedly showed Jenkins saying things like, “I ain’t sorry, b—. At all. I’ll do it again” and other statements related to the attack, according to authorities. She and the victim “used to be friends” after meeting through social media in 2023, but their friendship “ended abruptly” in 2024 following an argument at a Valentine’s Day party.
“I tried to stab her in the eye and the middle of her forehead,” Jenkins proclaimed, noting how the victim was “lucky [she] woke to see another day,” per the complaint.
“I should have finished that ho off,” Jenkins allegedly said.
“I should have put a bullet in that ho mouth,” she allegedly added. “Stab that ho in her mother f—ing brain, in the middle of her f—ing head and come out the back.”
Jenkins, who is charged with attempted first-degree murder, was being held Monday without bond. She has prior convictions on her records for grand theft in Florida and fraud in Texas.
