A search is underway in Minnesota for a 12-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.
Minnesota Public Radio reported that Victoria Jackson was last seen walking in Minnehaha Falls. Police said Jackson has Type 1 diabetes — and she uses an insulin pump that is clipped to her waist and connected to a patch on her upper arm.
There is an increased urgency to find Jackson because her automatic insulin pump required a refill by Monday.
“Victoria might be acting erratically or not in able body at this point, she might be in a diabetic crisis,” her aunt told KARE.
Jackson was described as standing 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 140 pounds, and having black hair in twists. She was last seen wearing a tan “Rugrats” T-shirt, blue jeans, and red and black shoes.
Anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts should call Hennepin County Dispatch at 952-258-5321.
