Fredrik Eklund is constantly making big moves in the real estate space, and his most recent career announcement is no exception. The Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum just revealed another exciting work update, and it’s major.
On August 6, Fredrik posted an Instagram story announcing his big news: The real estate pro is collaborating with Robert A.M. Stern Architects, also known as RAMSA, to create a new development in New York City.
“[Incredibly] proud and humbled to once again work with [RAMSA] in New York for a brand new billion dollar [and] epic development [in] downtown NYC,” Fredrik wrote on the post, which featured a photo of him posing with a model of one of RAMSA’s past projects.

The successful businessman continued, giving more details on his career trajectory. “I often think I am a frustrated architect by birth and preprogramming these incredible new buildings in my real passion. I’m just so grateful to be here at this point in my career working alongside the best in class,” he added.

Inside Fredrik Eklund’s recent career moves
This recent update is only one of Fredrik’s many notable career moments. In July, the entrepreneur’s company “Real Messenger,” which he cofounded with Thomas Ma, went public on the stock exchange. To celebrate, Fredrik rang the closing bell at NASDAQ in Times Square.
“I’m grateful and overwhelmed with emotion for everything in this life,” Fredrik wrote on an Instagram post commemorating the special day.
Back in April, the father of two announced more career news regarding the Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman via Instagram.
“Yesterday we accepted $44,000,000 in new deals at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, South Beach. In one day!” he captioned an April 25 Story post. “These 3 new contracts are going out as we speak. I’m so jealous of these buyers, and happy for the entire team selling what now must be Miami Beach’s fastest selling project.”

Although Fredrik spends most of his time selling properties, he also has quite the real estate portfolio himself. On July 26, Fredrik took to Instagram to announce that he and his husband, Derek Kaplan, purchased a stunning centuries-old chapel in Tuscany.
“After years of dreaming and searching… we found it!” he captioned the post. “A 13th-century chapel ruin perched on a cliff with 40 acres of olive trees, overlooking the golden hills of Montepulciano in Italy. This is the first time I’m sharing this, as we closed on it last year and now deep in planning and permits — a sacred place that’s ours to protect… to love back to life.”
The post also featured a video of the happy couple showing off their new property, which included Fredrik calling the space a “big renovation project.”
He added that he and Derek would revive the chapel’s original “glory,” and said they plan to fill the space with ornate statues and stunning artwork.
