Aaron Carter’s Sister Found Dead in Bathroom a Year After His Death Under Similar Circumstances – Crime Online

Bobbie Jean Carter, the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, was reportedly found dead in her Florida home on Saturday.

TMZ reported that Bobbie Jean Carter, 41, was pronounced dead at a hospital after she was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her Tampa home. Though she was on probation for cocaine possession, her roommates told the tabloid that she had not used any narcotics since being released from prison.

Hillsborough County police said no narcotics or paraphernalia were found at the scene. Responding officers reportedly observed no evidence of foul play.

Bobbie Jean Carter was arrested in June after she was caught stealing stickers and markers from a Hobby Lobby. It was during that ordeal when she was found in possession of fentanyl, according to People.

Her death comes a little more than a year after her brother Aaron Carter was found drowned in a bathtub in his California home. An autopsy concluded that Aaron Carter lost consciousness in the bathtub and drowned due to prescription pill use and huffing, according to TMZ.

The circumstances surrounding Bobbie Jean and Aaron Carter’s deaths are also similar to the 2012 death of their sister, Leslie Carter, who died after being found unresponsive in a shower. Her death was deemed an overdose, Page Six reported.

Officials have not yet determined Bobbie Jean Carter’s cause of death.

“Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what,” sister Angel Carter said in an Instagram post dedicated to Bobbie Jean Carter.

“I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did. I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.”
