Actor Shia LaBeouf Arrested in New Orleans After Allegedly ‘Terrorizing’ the City – Crime Online

Actor Shia LaBeouf  has reportedly been arrested after reportedly attacking people during the city’s Mardi Gras celebrations.

According to the NBC News, police arrested LaBeouf shortly after midnight Tuesday morning, for allegedly creating a disturbance at a Royal Street business and hitting two people.

The incident reportedly occurred during the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration.

“Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf who used his closed fists on the victim several times,” New Orleans police said in a meda release.

“The victims reported that LaBeouf left, but then came back, acting even more aggressive.”

Bystanders attempted to hold the actor down, but when released, he hit the victim in the “upper body,” according to police.

“LaBeouf then reportedly assaulted another person — punching him in the nose,” police said. “LaBeouf was again held down until police arrived.”

After being treated an area hospital for injuries, police arrested LeBeouf and charged him with two counts of simple battery.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that LeBeouf’s purported antics had lasted for nearly a week, with one New Orleans bartender, who waited on him Thursday, claiming that he had been “terrorizing the city.

A Ms Mae’s bartender, identified as Kyle Catarouch, said that LeBeouf asked “three times” if he could use a credit card, although the bar has a cash-only policy with numerous “Cash Only” signs in the establishment.

A patron who spotted LeBeouf at a jazz bar on Thursday said the actor had been “louder than everyone and was giving acting instructions to a girl at the bar.”

Others, however, incuding 45 Tchoup co-owner Deb Shatz, indicated that LeBeouf had been “totally chill,” while some people who recognized him stated he posed for Instagram photos without complaints.

According to court records, LaBeouf was scheduled to appear magistrate court on Tuesday afternoon, CBS 4 reports.
