The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Adriana de Moura returned from Spain with some “tea” to spill on Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton skipping the day trip to Marbella.
As seen on Season 7, Episode 13, Alexia and Marysol made the last-minute decision to forgo the approximately 20-minute flight from Seville on Stephanie Shojaee’s private jet after she insisted on making seating assignments and demanded the women sign an agreement to abide by her strict rules of “jet-iquette.”
“Oh, do I have inside information on that one!” Adriana declared on The Real Housewives of Miami After Show, before claiming that the two RHOM besties tried to recruit their castmates to also boycott the excursion.
According to Adriana, the night before the trip, they “summoned” her to their hotel penthouse, where they were unwinding with Julia Lemigova. That’s when she said Marysol began “ordering all of us not to get on that plane.”

Guerdy Abraira, meanwhile, detailed some unseen post-dinner drama with Stephanie that transpired in the hotel lobby, resulting in her deciding not to go to Marbella either. However, the two quickly cleared up the misunderstanding afterward, and Guerdy changed her mind — much to Alexia and Marysol’s disappointment, apparently.
“They were upset that I would be making up for peace with Stephanie because, in their mind, ‘Guerdy’s not coming tomorrow, so we’ve got one more on our list,'” she theorized.
Adriana concluded, “It was all very calculated.”
Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton defend skipping the Marbella trip
Alexia kicked off the above RHOM After Show clip by discussing Stephanie’s “seating arrangement,” describing how she felt like she and her castmates “were little kids and she was a schoolteacher” telling them where they had to sit.
Marysol, meanwhile, highlighted Stephanie’s plan to potentially place Adriana or Lisa Hochstein in “solitary confinement,” expressing her opposition to making certain individuals feel “isolated” from the group.
“We go back to the room, [and] I said to Alexia, ‘Look, this is getting really dark,'” Marysol revealed, alongside her Ay Por Favor podcast co-host. “And that’s when you and I were like, ‘Let’s not even go.'”

As Alexia added, “Nobody wanted to go on the plane. They all started calling us, and were like, ‘Oh my god, we don’t wanna go on the plane, too. Like, we feel so, like, uncomfortable. She makes us uncomfortable. She’s, like, dangling her plane, you know, over our heads. Maybe I shouldn’t go…'”
As for the Guerdy of it all, both women said they thought it was “f–ked up” how Stephanie was “so rude” and “dismissed” her re-telling of a story involving Lisa’s flippant reaction to a “traumatic” childhood experience she had. Saying they felt “terrible” for Guerdy, the duo was even more surprised to see her going to Stephanie’s room, moments later.
“It’s like they all kiss her ass because they want to go on her plane,” Alexia said.
Why Alexia and Marysol didn’t want to fly on Stephanie’s plane
Throughout RHOM‘s Aug. 28 episode, Alexia and Marysol gave various explanations for not traveling to Marbella, where Julia had planned to ask her friends to be godfathers to her and wife Martina Navratilova’s newly adopted sons.
“The more I slept on this… it’s a little overwhelming for me right now,” Marysol explained in a confessional, citing Stephanie’s seating arrangements and new drama between Adriana and Kiki Barth. “The fact that Stephanie said if there was fighting, she would just leave people behind is not exactly encouraging to hop on the plane.”
So, Alexia texted Stephanie to let her know their change of plans, and the two remained in Seville for a “mental break,” while the others jetted off to Marbella.
“I can’t anymore. It’s been exhausting, Alexia,” Marysol vented, later. “If I have to hear about that airplane one more f–kin’ time. … It’s like she’s doing this favor for us. I don’t want any favors. Let’s be friends without the favor.”
The next day, however, Marysol excused her absence to Stephanie by saying that she “wanted to be with Alexia,” who’d yet to have “a day for her,” though the trip was partly planned to get her mind off her tumultuous split from ex, Todd Nepola.
In the interim, Stephanie struggled to understand if Marysol and Alexia stayed behind because they “wanted to relax,” or because she had “too many rules” to fly on her jet. That culminated in a heated confrontation between Alexia and Stephanie later in the Plaza de España.
“By the way, [Marysol] wasn’t at your plane because she didn’t want you to dangle the carrot,” Alexia admitted.
As Stephanie fired back, “It wasn’t that she wanted to hang out with you. That’s the truth. Just say it.”
