Aesha Scott is having some serious flashbacks to Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean, and there’s a good reason why.
In a preview for the Season 10 premiere (which airs Monday, Sept. 29), the chief stew gets down to brass tacks when deciding which newbie — Kizzi Kitchener or Victoria “V” SanJuan — will serve as second stew this season. It turns out there isn’t wealth of experience between the two first-time Below Deck-ers, and Aesha expresses her feelings aptly … with a poem.
“I’ve written a little poem,” Aesha shares in a confessional interview with producers. “I’m a bit worried about V, because it rhymes with Bri, and I’ve got PTSD, from last season’s laundry.”
The poem points to former stew Bri Muller, who famously struggled with her laundry duties throughout Season 9. (She did, however, eventually receive the title of the “most improved” yacthie from Captain Sandy Yawn.)
Where is Below Deck Med‘s Bri Muller today?
Bri Muller is not part of the Below Deck Med Season 10 lineup, but she continues to come out on top amidst life’s curveballs. In an Aug. 27 Instagram post, nearly nine months after her last post, the South African Below Deck Med alum shared a video montage of her travels around the world. Deep-sea fishing, swimming by waterfalls, and swinging over turquoise waters were just a few of her adventures so far this year. She wrote in the caption, “Trying to heal while trying to grieve while trying to live while trying to forgive while trying to love while trying to be loved.”
Fans will recall that by the end of Below Deck Med Season 9, Bri could look back in jest and see her growth.
“I was probably the s–ttiest, but I’m not so sh–ty anymore!” she told producers. “So thank you. Before jumping on motoryacht Mustique, like, I was lacking confidence. But the sense of pride that I’m feeling right now, I can just take that to my next job. Like, I’m a working girl now.”

Who are the new stews on Below Deck Med Season 10?
Under Aesha’s command, Kizzi and Victoria will serve as M/Y Bravado’s stews.
Kizzi, coming from Ipswich, England, is handy when it comes to “latte art” and enjoys “spicy margarita nights with the girls” when not out to sea, according to her Season 10 cast bio.
Meanwhile, Victoria is a Floridian who enjoys “painting, twerking, scuba diving, and making divine guacamole,” summing up this season with only three words: “Exhilarating. Romance. Chaos.”
