Aesha Scott is officially a married woman! The Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew tied the knot with her longtime love, Scott “Scotty” Dobson, in early March. After the wedding, Aesha took to Instagram Stories where she confirmed the exciting news.
Scott even shed some light on the big day, which, as previously revealed, took place in New Zealand, in an Instagram Stories post Aesha reshared. He wrote, “I don’t believe in superstitions, but this was by far the best timed ‘Good omen I’ve possibly encountered… A couple [of] Putangitangi/Paradise Ducks flying into my parents’ backyard and hanging out an hour before the ceremony. They mate for life and always live as pairs.”
Aesha’s response? “How cool.”
While Aesha has yet to share any photos of her in her wedding dress or from inside the big day, she did share what’s next for her and Scotty when she posted a sweet selfie of her and her new husband days after the big day. “And we are off on our mini-moon as husband and wife!!!” she wrote.

Aesha knew there was no place like home when it came time to say “I do.” “Apart from the obvious of marrying my love, I’m most excited for all of my worlds to collide,” Aesha told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview after Below Deck Med Season 10 wrapped. “My friends that are coming from overseas, people I have bonded with over all my years of travel and doing the show, are such a huge part of my life, but have never seen my hometown or met my family. The thought of walking down the aisle and looking up and seeing them in my home space just makes me want to cry tears of joy instantly.”

In the lead up to Aesha’s wedding to Scotty, she had been very open about the planning process as well as her super-stunning engagement ring. Aesha had appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in September 2025, where she revealed that she had been a pretty low-maintenance bride leading up to her March 2026 nuptials. “I don’t understand why people get so stressed, maybe because I’m a chief stew,” she explained.
“You just sit down and email people and say, ‘Hey, can you do my wedding?’ And they say yes or no. I’m very simple though,” she added. “Noodles and curry, that’s all I need.”

Aesha Scott teases her wedding reception plans with Scott “Scotty” Dobson
Aesha admitted to PEOPLE in April 2025 that her wedding would be a little untraditional. “We’re going down a not-so-traditional route, and we are doing all Thai food because I’m obsessed with Thai,” she noted. “If I’m a little bit tipsy after the afternoon drinks, I want to sit down, I want to slurp up a curry. I just want to sit there in spice heaven, so we’re going to do Thai food.”
“We have got a venue, a videographer, a photographer, and I’ve organized the DJ,” she explained. “We’re doing a saxophone-playing DJ because I love the saxophone. Get the sax out and out the bangers on!”

Scott proposed to Aesha in May 2024 with a round cut diamond ring set on an 18K gold band, with a ring that he designed with jewelry designer, Layla Kaisi. Aesha spoke with The Daily Dish in January, where she shared new details about the stunning accessory with so much meaning.
“Aren’t I the luckiest girl alive?!” she asked. “They worked together to come up with it, and because I’m super sentimental, Scott really wanted to make sure it had a lot of meaning behind it.”
“I am very very close with my family. They are my everything, so he made it so there was one stone for each member of my family (with a slightly different colored stone to represent my late brother, I know, so lovely),” she continued. “And then on the inside of the band is a small diamond to represent him because he knows his love language is touch and that he will be touching me wherever I go.”

In the weeks prior to getting married, Aesha even teased what her wedding band would look like and opened up more about her design. “I asked Layla, who Scott got to design my engagement ring, to please design me a ring that [complements] the other so I can wear them as a set,” Aesha explained on Instagram. “I really wanted bezel set stones that were different shapes, and for the champagne diamond to carry across because I love the colour!”

Aesha kissed her single life goodby at a bachelorette party thrown by her close friends. She shared a look inside the event on Instagram in early March, which included her looking glam in a bride-like dress and veil. “WHAT A WEEKEND,” she wrote. “How did I get so lucky??? Grateful for sisterhood and getting the chance to just be SILLY.”
What’s next for Aesha Scott after getting married?
In addition into settling into her newly married life with Scott and heading out on their mini honeymoon, Aesha is also hard at work on launching her alcoholic coconut water brand, DROP, in California this upcoming summer, before expanding across other markets in the United States: “I’m feeling hopeful it will be a hit,” she said.
