Aesha Scott was admittedly facing a Champagne problem. As she prepared to exchange “I do’s” with Scott “Scotty” Dobson, the Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew hopped on Instagram seeking input on her “final wedding ring designs.”
Aesha posted mock-ups of the potential pieces, which were illustrated alongside her stunning engagement ring designed by New Zealand-based jeweler Layla Kaisi. The engagement piece featured a round-cut center diamond with seven accent stones, one of which was a beautiful Champagne color. Layla said the center rock represented Aesha, while the smaller stones symbolized her family. The 18-karat gold band represented Scott’s “commitment” to Aesha’s family.
Aesha Scott shares insight into her custom wedding ring options
“I asked Layla, who Scott got to design my engagement ring, to please design me a ring that compliments the other so I can wear them as a set,” Aesha explained. “I really wanted bezel set stones that were different shapes, and for the champagne diamond to carry across because I love the colour! These are two different designs, one with four champagnes and one with two. What’s your favorite? So hard to choose!!”

Options A and B showed seven stones on the wedding ring: four Champagne-colored and three white. Options C and D also had seven stones, two of which were Champagne. The jewels were presented in various cuts, ranging from round to baguette to princess.
“By the way I am very aware of how privileged I am to be able to design a ring,” Aesha added. “It is not lost on me and I am extremely grateful to be able to do this.”

She returned to Instagram shortly after to reveal the poll’s final results.
