Aesha Scott isn’t just a seasoned chief stew — she’s the founder of the alcoholic coconut water brand, Drop. The beverage line, which launched in 2024, is only available to purchase in Australia, but the Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie is hoping to expand and be found in more locations by this summer.
Aesha took to Instagram earlier this month, where she posted a video giving a big update on the brand, revealing it might be expanding to the United States soon. “So we have just gotten some fabulous, fabulous news,” she exclaimed in the video.Â
“We have been working on bringing Drop into the states,” she explained. “We have got this incredible master, mixer, distiller who is helping us to create Drop over there and also work on some new flavors, and we just got the first round of samples for a new flavor,r which is so, so exciting!”
But, things are still in the early stages of development, Aesha noted in the video. This is because she and her fiancé, Scott Dobson, still have to sample all of the new flavors, among taking other steps in the process, before their tentative launch later this summer.
Once Aesha tries out the samples and approves of them, she admits that there is still a long way to go before people in the United States (or maybe just California, she explained) can buy the alcohol. “We’re in a really exciting place with getting it made over here in the US BUT we still have a ways to go, we might make it and no one wants to stock and distribute it,” she continued in the caption of the post. “This could all lead to a whole lot of dead ends.”
“But I have a really, really good feeling and I think it’s all going to work out just fine,” she added in the caption. As she noted in the video, “you can’t conquer the world in a day.”
Aesha Scott opens up about her “dream” career move
This isn’t the only exciting thing Aesha has experienced in her career this year. She recently announced on Instagram back in March that she and Scott will be competing on The Amazing Race Australia Season 9, along with multiple celebrity teams.
“I cannot emphasize this enough…THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram announcement. “It has been a bucket list dream of mine since I was 13 and the fact that I am here right now in our first location is SO SURREAL. I can barely process it….Added to that is the fact that I get to do this with my love by my side, making memories that will last us a lifetime and that we can one day show our future kiddies.”
Aesha Scott reveals her wedding planning status with Scott Dobson amid career moves
In addition to making some major career moves together, she and Scotty are also well underway in their wedding planning. “We have got a venue, a videographer, a photographer, and I’ve organized the DJ,” she told People in April. “We’re doing a saxophone-playing DJ because I love the saxophone. Get the sax out and put the bangers on!”
