The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Season 7 finale updated viewers that Todd Nepola “officially divorced” Alexia Nepola after filming wrapped. Even so, they “tried dating” again, but ended the season “broken up — for now.”
On The Real Housewives of Miami After Show, Alexia unpacked her and Todd’s decision to follow through with the divorce, despite their relationship’s continued on-and-off nature.
“I feel like it was something that he started and he had to finish,” she explained in the above clip. “I didn’t fight it.”
That’s not to say the divorce was totally up to Todd, though: “We both felt like, you know what? Marriage didn’t work out for us; maybe, you know, this is what’s best for us.”
Ultimately, Alexia “just wanted to be at peace,” hence the reason why she “didn’t fight” Todd in the divorce.

“I just think that there’s, like, a lot to unpack…” she continued. “We’ve even talked about the fact that he’s like, ‘I’m gonna regret, you know, that I divorced you.'”
After Alexia and Todd finalized their divorce settlement in March 2025, “we continued to see each other,” she admitted on the RHOM After Show.
“But now, when the show started airing again, I feel like it’s best for both of us that we take a little break and just let the whole season play out, and let’s see where we land,” Alexia added. “It’s really hard to be together right now, watching the show and reliving this.”

That “new information” prompted Alexia’s stunned bestie Marysol Patton to bury her head in her hands and swiftly enter the chat. “I thought you were done,” Marysol responded. “Now, you’re saying, like, ‘Let’s see how it plays out.’ I’m shocked.”
Noting that she’s leaving her and Todd’s fate up to “God or the universe,” Alexia clarified that she was not making any sort of declaration on their future, one way or the other.

“I’m not saying that I’m done or I’m not … It’s a process,” Alexia continued, earning a facepalm from Marysol. “I don’t have an on and off button that you just switch it off and, like, ‘I love you today, and I don’t love you tomorrow.'”
Despite her earlier comments, Alexia insisted that she “never said there’s a possibility” that she and Todd will reconcile again. On the other hand, she pointed out that she didn’t say that was not a possibility, either. As she reasoned, her mind just “works in different ways.”

During RHOM‘s Sept. 25 episode, Alexia confirmed to a producer that Todd never apologized to her two adult sons, Peter Rosello and Frankie Rosello, for the way he left her.
On the Season 7 finale, Peter opened up to Alexia about how he felt it would not be “fair for Frankie,” if she and Todd got back together. While sharing his “worry” that Todd could leave her all over again, he elaborated, “I don’t want Frankie living with someone that doesn’t really give a s–t. … There’s many things that have to change.”
